DO NOT TRUST THE PROVIDED TEMPLATE
The 2 star rating is because I relied on the template for installation. DO NOT RELY ON THE TEMPLATE THAT IS PROVIDED!!! This is super incredible for me to believe a template for installation is so grossly OFF! IF you want additional holes in your walls you will have to fill use the template, it is so far off it’s sad! The rack itself is fine for what it is used for the quality control of the template never happened!

Difficult to install
This is a nice set of hooks but installing them is a little bit complicated. The template for drilling the holes in the wall is incorrect. I used the template first and made holes in my wall that were in the wrong places. Even when I corrected that and drilled new holes, it was difficult to get the unit lined up with the screws. Fortunately, I have some handiman skills and made it work but it wasn’t easy.

Fine item but DO NOT use measurement instructions
Do NOT use the measurements on the instructions. When we saw the instructions we were happy to have something easy to measure, but the measurement on it is wrong (!!!!), it’s off by an inch at least. Other than that, the hooks are okay and do the job. Wish there was an option with bigger hooks.

Difficult installation and incorrect instructions
The hooks look great, but installation is a beast- the holes for the wall mount screw are right beside two other holes in the back of the board, and the installation pattern that comes with the hooks has incorrect placement of where the screws go. Wouldn’t recommend as there are plenty of other options like this!

Do not use the Template provided!!!!!!
Templates are always helpful with a simple little shelf. Tape it up drill holes and hang shelf. Not the case here as I was fooled twice. The first shelf I taped up the template, drilled the holes, put the anchors then the screws. To my dismay I was off 1/4 inch. Which ment the shelf would not fit. So I got my ruler and level and hung it. I figured that I had not pulled the template tight enough. Not the case as it happened again. Finally I measured the template. The line labeled 16 inches is not 16 inches. It’s 15 3/4 and that does not work. So do not use the template.

Dont use the Template
I wish I could give this zero stars. I followed the directions and used the template for drilling my holes. The template does not match the shelf, so when I went to hang it, it didn't fit. The anchors are huge so you are left with massive holes to fill. And they don't give you any spare parts, so don't mess it up.

What you'd expect for the price
Well, it’s cheap. So it looks it. The metal is painted in a way that is semi matte so it’s the color of brushed nickel but it absolutely lacks the brushed pattern and richness of actual brushed nickel (appropriate at this price point). Hardware edges aren’t great, ok for towels not finer fabrics. Wood is just flat not finished well. So, not a great steal, but fine for the price.

Needs large, odd-size drill bit, 7/16 or 11 mm. Mounting brackets on back were upside down, and the tiny screws were hard to handle. A careless mass-produced item.
