Description

STEM Mosquito and Tick Repellent provides protection from mosquitoes for up to 8 hours. Use this outdoor mosquito repellent for your family's backyard cookouts, game days, summer fun, and lazy beach trips. It's made with an ingredient called picaridin and is a gentle, fragrance-free and non-irritant for your skin. Protect your entire family with a few simple spritzes of STEM bug spray and get back out there. Maximize your mosquito control with protection from mosquitoes that might carry West Nile, Zika, Dengue, and Chikungunya and from ticks that might carry Lyme disease. Try an aerosol can of STEM's bug repellent that is non-greasy, non-oily and won't damage your clothing.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Read and follow all directions and precaution on this product label. Hold container 6 to 8 inches from skin and spray with a slow sweeping motion. Do not apply over cuts,
wounds, irritated or sunburned skin. Do not spray in enclosed areas. Use just enough repellent to cover exposed skin. Do not use under clothing. Avoid over-application of this product. For continued insect protection, reapply as effectiveness diminishes, but not to exceed 2 applications per day. Frequent reapplication and saturation are unnecessary. Apply sparingly around ears. When using on children, apply to your own hands and then put it on the child. Do not apply to children's hands. Do not allow children to handle this product. After returning indoors, wash treated skin with soap and water. FOR MAXIMUM PROTECTION, spread evenly with hands to moisten all exposed skin. TO APPLY TO FACE: Spray palm of hand first and then apply sparingly and avoid eyes. Do not spray directly onto face. Do not apply near eyes and mouth.



WARNINGS: WARNING: Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Do not get in eyes. Use of this product may cause reactions in rare cases. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
FIRST AID: Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor, or going for treatment. If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

    Effective but stings badly upon application?

    I really do think this is one of the best mosquito sprays I’ve ever used. But I can’t fathom or defend why it STINGS so bad for the first few seconds after application???? My toddler and I both feel it and it fades away after a few seconds. I don’t mind since it is so effective but obviously causing distress to my small child upon application every single time makes it completely ineffective for using on her. I’m surprised I didn’t see this in any other reviews? I also got my two bottles on clearance so I’m wondering if this batch was bad and they clearanced them out but seems like a bad Move….

    Amazing defense!

    Love it! Amazing performance, light scent and feels light on skin. My family and I have been battling mosquitoes all summer. Last night we tried Stem for the first time and it was amazing! No one was bitten! I had 4 other types of big sprays, some with deet and some without, I've thrown them all away.

    Great stuff

    Love this. It does work. No 100 percent but definitely better than most. I like the spray but it does go quick. It’s a bit pricey here. I can get it at H-E-B for 7.59 and at times they have 1.50 off coupons.

    Doesnt protect against a thing

    This has zero effect when used against mosquitoes and I’d hate to see how effective this would be when trying to prevent ticks. This doesn’t work at all, no amount of prevention whatsoever. We live in the central valley and mosquitoes are rampant and this is not the thing for us. I don’t know how it works for anyone. Maybe we got a crappy batch but it literally was like spraying perfume on and nothing more. Buy at your own risk

    Unscented AND works!

    This stuff is great! I was going on a camping trip and I was trying to find a bug spray that doesn't have a smell (I am sensitive to fragrance) and actually works. A lot of the fragrance free bug sprays don't have great reviews so I decided to get this one, still skeptical because the reviews were part of promotion. I can say this stuff is completely unscented and kept the bugs away in my 5 day camping trip. My friends who used other sprays came home with many bug bites and I came home with 0! I am very impressed!

    A Must Have

    We were attending an outdoor event in a wooded area where everyone was covered in ticks and mosquito bites. I bought STEM for the next day's activities for my children and I. I lightly sprayed it on exposed skin, clothes, and shoes. We had NO ticks on us or mosquito bites the entire day! I love that it is not sticky or greasy at all and no odor on your skin or clothes, both of which I can't stand of other sprays. You cannot tell that you have it on.

My husband and I tried this product while we were working outdoors in the evening, when he usually gets several mosquito bites. This time, he only received one bite on his shoulder, where he had not sprayed the product because his shoulder was covered by a shirt. The spray is not greasy or sticky, but it does have a strong scent that we weren't too fond of. Overall, we liked this product and look forward to more bite-free evenings this year!
