The heat protectant spray seems to not leave as greasy of a residue yet still provides shine. Perhaps there’s something about applying heat that makes it absorb better. Note, I have not tried the shine spray since I started blow drying my hair. I’m not sure if it protects my hair from heat styling. Perhaps time will tell

I use this Heat Protectant and my coils are coily as ever after every wash. My only gripe is that it is not enough product for the amount of heat I use. I would not hesitate to purchase this if it came in a larger bottle.

My hairdresser at Ulta uses this product on me, I asked her if she likes it and she said it works great on all her clients. I flat iron my hair at home and I use the Rev-Air hairdryer to blow it out first. I've been using this Pattern heat protectant and it helps my hair. I have 4a hair that I wear as a straight natural and this helps keeps my curls and not damage my mid-back length hair. I flat iron and blow dry my hair every two weeks. it smells good. It has oils in it so it's not drying for Afro hair. I recommend this for anybody who has dry type 3 and type 4 hair. I read the other reviews and I do not have any issues with the spray bottle. My spray bottle is halfway done and it works great.
