Cocokind's Beginner Retinol Gel 0.1% is clinically-tested for sensitive skin and made with their Tri-Retinoid Comfort Complex™ to improve the appearance of fine lines and uneven texture without irritation. Retinol, one of the most well-researched ingredients for aging and blemish-prone skin, helps support skin’s collagen and promotes surface cell turnover for a youthful glow. Their retinol complex is further buffered with a soothing blend of aloe and cica to prevent excessive dryness. Packaging is made from aluminum, please recycle it!

It is a skin treatment that was clinically-tested for sensitive skin and was formulated to improve the appearance of fine lines and uneven texture with no irritation. Introduce this into your PM routine every other night to start. After cleansing and toning, apply a pea size amount of retinol to dry skin. We also recommend following up with our moisturizer, the resurrection polypeptide cream, to further boost hydration and skin-firming benefits.

I really like how gentle yet effective this retinol is. Whenever I break out or develop texture, this gel resets my skin. I like to apply it after my moisturizer fully absorbs. I've also been able to use it every night without irritation.

I have extremely sensitive, redness-prone skin. This product has been fantastic - I slowly introduced it into my routine over the last couple of months and I can tell a difference. My skin is smoother, less red, and has more of a glow. I had no reactions, and I now use it 3x per week. A little goes a long way. I am really impressed with this product. Be patient with introducing it in your routine and waiting for results - it’s worth it!

Unfortunately, I only got to use this product once. I wasn't aware that the Vitamin A in Retinol can cause headaches and even migraines. I got one of the worst migraines of my life about 90 minutes after applying this product. It's a shame because my skin looked fabulous the next morning. It hadn't been that soft since I was a kid. If you aren't a migraine sufferer, I recommend this product without reservation. If you are sensitive and prone to migraines, proceed with caution.

Very impressed with this gel. It’s the first retinol product I’ve tried that hasn’t been super drying and irritating. After using it, my skin seems smoother and my pores are a bit smaller. Because it’s a natural product, which I love, be aware that it is bright green and smells like a plant.

This cocokind beginner retinol gel, 1 fl oz feels so nice on my skin. It has a creamy & luxurious texture. It feels smooth & is lightweight. After cleansing my skin, I put a little bit of this retinol gel on my fingers & rub it onto my face. It absorbs fast & doesn’t leave an oily or sticky residue. I like that it’s unscented & it’s also vegan. I use this to improve the texture of my skin which was looking dull. It helps my complexion look a little more refreshed. I like that it’s okay to use on sensitive skin, because some products irritate my skin, but this one doesn’t. It doesn’t dry it out or make it tingle. It leaves my skin feeling soft.

This retinol is absolutely great for beginners. It’s not high but low in percentage and leaves the skin feeling soft. I love how lightweight the product is and does not irritate my skin. I have combination skin and goes on great without any issues. Easy to use and includes all the ingredients in it. If you’re starting with a skincare routine. I highly suguypu start off with this type.

For those looking to start an anti-aging regime this is an excellent beginner serum. It’s gentle on the skin and for those of us who have sensitive skin, it’s a good product to get your skin acclimated before moving on to a prescription strength retinol. The texture is smooth and silky and at this price point, it’s hard to beat! I’m a big fan of Cocokind skincare and this is another winner.

I think this product works well so far! I have used this for a few weeks now and I think my skin brighter and more even. I have used rodan and fields before and the price of this was terrible the price and this is just as effective.

Overall a nice product. I like the feel of it on my skin and I haven't notice any issues (no redness, irritation or flaking skin that I can get with different products). I didnt give it 5 stars because I don’t feel like I havr used it long enough to comment on its performance in anti aging

I received the Retinol Gel for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This was my first experience using retinol gel—the gel moisturized and energized my skin leaving my face felling smooth and looking bright. The gel is yellow in color but did not change my skin tone when applied to the face. Furthermore, the gel is very gentle. I have a sensitive face and my face did not react in any adverse way to the gel.
