Q: how do you secure it in the parts that are not mounted to the wall? the panels only tighten to prevent it from bending at that part but it slides all over the floor /:

A: There is not a way to prevent it from sliding on the floor as it could create a safety hazard with the possibility of not using the wall mounting brackets. To secure the gate connectors, you would attach two gate connectors to one of the free ends of your gate at the specified mounting locations shown in the instruction book. The placement of the gate connectors will determine where your gate is attached to the wall. Repeat step for the other free end of the gate.

got this yesterday because my 10mo old is crawling & i just wanted to block off access to the tv stand. i mounted it to the wall & the mounts hold great, BUT the pieces that connect to each other & not the wall are FLIMSY. i barely push on it & it falls forward. i figured i could just stick something behind it to keep it from doing that, but when i went to move a box behind it, every piece not secured to the wall slid across the floor! i tried putting grippers on the bottoms to keep it from sliding, that didn't do anything. i tried zip typing it to boxes with grippers under it & THAT didn't help. it's literally the most unsafe gate i've ever seen & i will be packing it up & returning it immediately! target won't let me upload the videos i took of it sliding. 😒

This is absolute hot garbage. It is the flimsiest child gate I have ever used. It also doesn’t stay in a locked position, despite tightening the hinges as much as possible. My 16 month old kids can move this all around, and the pressure of them pushing on it, closes the hinges and can pinch fingers. They can also bend the plastic sections so much that it’s dangerous. This company makes decent products, but this particular model is not one of them. Spend your money elsewhere. It’s also way overpriced for what you get.
Would not recommend for puppy use.

I bought this to keep my puppy in at night or when I am out. Today after being out ! 1/2 hrs I came home to find my puppy"s head stuck through on one side. He had tried to get out and was stuck. It was horrible. I would not buy this if you have s small puppy.

I would not buy this if you are not going to mount it somewhere. The play yard is pretty flimsy and it doesn't stay up right. The only thing I liked about it was that it is light and easy to close and put away but I sent it right back to the store. Would not recommend buying this.

My baby pinched his finger after I installed this how the company advises. This product is dangerous. I'm glad my baby didn't break his finger. Even if you tighten the top pieces your baby can still move the gate to where the gaps can close on the baby's body part if it's in the gate's gaps.

I love that you can take sections off to fit it to wherever you need it to be, I have used it as a large playpen type of gate and have also used it to block off my stairs when we are out in the back yard so my 1 year old doesnt climb them. Everything about this gate is perfect! Theres no way for a child to get the gate open as you need an adults strength but for me there was no issue. I know my daughter is safe while playing around this and it isnt going to simply fall over.

I really liked the grey color because it blends perfectly in my living room. I have had this set up for few days and has made looking after my 1 year old so easy. I know that he will be safe in there if I have to quickly run to the restroom or do an errand. It gives me peace of mind. This play yard was very easy to set up and because of its light weight I can carry it around the house as well as my backyard. I have not tried the safety gate feature yet as the pkay yard is workibg perfectly for me but reading the instructions it looks like it will be very easy to set up. Perfect for anyone looking to keep toddlers safe.

They are great as a safety gate to keep her out of areas we don't want her to get into, we feel good about the level of support and sturdiness, and love that it comes with wall mounts for added support! The size is wonderful, it can easily cover our large double doorway that leads to stairs.

Upon getting the 8 in 1 safety gate, we were a bit skeptical. We put it together and had a few issues with the wall mounts, but eventually got it together. Our daughter now has more room to roam ans play. I recommend this highly for anyone who wants that extra security, and to allow your chold to roam freely.
