Love
I have fair skin, so no issues with white cast and hard to observe if there are any. Clean, prevents sun damage.

5 star sunscreen
Moisturizing but not oily. Dewy but not greasy. Soothing for dry skin. No white cast or orange tint. Feels like a high end sunscreen.

Could not get past the smell. It was light weight and not sticky but the lingering smell was too much. Reminded me of a faint barf smell, like in elementary school.

Great mineral fscial sunscreen!
I love this sunscreen! I love that it’s mineral, but doesn’t leave a white cast at all. It goes on smooth and wears well under makeup.

cuddles on your face before you can rub it in. makes your skin feel really soft and nourished if you can tolerate pills all over your face

This is my all time favorite face sunscreen because it truly doesn't leave a white cast. Please, please, please make it in a formula for the body!!!!

Burns your eyes!
Burns your eyes! I love the rest of the prequel products but I had to end my workout early because this was burning my eyes so badly.

Smooth, slightly tinted, not sticky
Doesn't leave a sticky feeling. Light weight. No scent. Slightly tinted. I have a sun sensitivity that requires UV rays to be blocked. This sunblock has the zinc oxide I require to block the uv.

A mineral sunscreen that surpasses most.
I’m always wary of mineral sunscreens-they can give you the dreaded white cast, be super thick and drying, and just overall provide an unpleasant experience. This mineral sunscreen more than surpassed my expectations for a mineral sunscreen. It was lightweight, creamy, and blended in beautifully with my Fitzpatrick 2.5 skin tone. I felt protected from the sun, and it layered nicely under makeup. I highly recommend it for someone looking for a mineral sunscreen and even if you aren’t familiar with mineral sunscreens, you will like this. I can’t speak on how it performs on deep skin tones, for for FP 4 and below, you should have no problems

Beautiful sunscreen
I thought I didn’t like this at first but once you learn how to use it properly (fully rub it in when you apply, as instructed on the tube lol) it’s really nice I feel fully protected and it gives my skin a nice glow

Pills
Returning. Pills on my skin and I use it after a milky toner and gentle moisturizer since it is also very lightweight and didn’t moisturize my skin alone.

Nice and Light
The texture and formulation. Sun Barrier has a slight tint that easily blends into the skin. Wearing under makeup has been tricky for me. Maybe my skin doesn’t love a mineral sunscreen?!

This sunscreen pills
Following directions, applying as my 1st step after cleansing, this sunscreen pills very bad. I have tried it on my face twice with the same results- pilling. It does not pill on my hands or arms, so i will use it for my hands & arms only & not purchase again. I have never had this problem with any other sunscreen. I am 65 years old.

Holy Pilling...
I had really high hopes for this sunscreen because it is SO hard to find a mineral sunscreen that does not contain isopropyl palmitate or isopropyl myristate and I've liked the few other things from Prequel that I've tried. I am 23 have super acne prone skin, along with rosacea, eczema, and just generally crazy dry, sensitive skin (I could look at a product wrong and break out in itchy red splotches). Pros: The consistency is nice - it's more fluid and lightweight than something like VaniCream's or Eucerin's mineral sunscreens. It also doesn't irritate my eyes very much, which almost every SPF and moisturizer do. It does have a scent but it doesn't linger nor is it nauseating during application (I'm pretty sensitive to scents). I also have not noticed any new breakouts from this product. I ran it through AcneClinicNYC's comedogenic ingredient checker, as I do for all new products, and the only thing it flagged was sorbitan oleate but I'm not too concerned because it's one of the very last ingredients and is a 3 out of 5 on the comedogenic scale. I saw some people commenting about the mica, which in general is something I'm not crazy about because it can be irritating, but, again, it is one of the last ingredients and I haven't noticed anything. There also is no cheapy sparkle or glitter look that often comes with mica containing products. Cons: This stuff *looks* SO drying (like 2016-era matte level) and it pills SO SO bad. Every time I've used this it either pills on contact or looks like it has absorbed but then 10 minutes later there are little white clumps all over my face. Even if I just "pat" it in instead of rubbing/wiping and wait an hour after moisturizing to apply it, it still pills. I think the peach tint is a good idea in theory, but there is still a noticeable (albeit manageable with a little bronzer) white cast on my decently fair skin, which accentuates any existing acne/scar/rosacea redness that I have. Imagine the worst retinol/accutane induced redness, peeling, flaking, sahara desert looking skin - that is what I look like after using this (except my skin is not irritated or flaking and it doesn't feel dry, it's just the pilled sunscreen).

No Breakouts or White Cast
I kept breaking out no matter what sunscreen I used, and after going through 5 different brands, Prequel ended up being the only sunscreen that would keep my skin moisturized, not make me break out, and not leave a white cast. I will definitely keep using it.

Really and truly my holy grail. LOVE
PLEASE never discontinue. This SPF got me to really wear SPF daily. I love it so much. It is the only sunscreen of dozens that doesn’t sting my eyes. The consistency feels great and I look forward to putting it on. It wear better than many moisturizers and seems to even calm my skin. Love her. Love the slight deewy look. Love the consistency and how it supports my consistency wearing SPF. I LOVEEEEEE

Love this facial sunscreen
I love this sunscreen. It is a very nice and light consistency and provides a bit of overall skin smoothing and light coverage while protecting your face from the sun. I use it daily and find that it works well as a base for a light foundation.
