HOW TO USE
To Use: As the last step in your skincare routine, apply a generous amount onto face 15 minutes before sun exposure and smooth on until fully absorbed. See Drug Facts for complete usage.

Uses Helps prevent sunburn If used as directed with other sun protection measures (see Directions), decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun

Directions

Directions Apply liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure, Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases risk of skin cancer and early aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Wear long sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses, Reapply at least every 2 hours, Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating, Children under 6 months: ask a doctor.

    gifted by prequelskin. SUN BARRIER MINERAL SUNSCREEN + CHEMICAL BOOSTERS BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 50 PA++++ has been an easy addition to my morning routine as the last step after moisturizer.     Same issues as every other mineral sunscreen

    I bought this during the Black Friday sale and put it aside so I could use my other two sunscreens up. When I grabbed it to use it in April, I was surprised to see it was going to expire at the end of the month?! Really? A 6-month shelf life? And on top of that, it leaves a white cast (I’m light to light/medium), it’s sticky, doesn’t play well at all with makeup and breaks up in the Texas humidity. Total pass. I hope the other products I purchased have a happier ending.

    Pills and odd texture

    This pills really badly for me. It's also very lumpy coming out of the bottle - is that normal? I was surprised by this because I thought dr. Ellis cares a disproportionate amount about the whole experience of how a product feels and what it's like to apply it.

    Very effective, a little too glowy, small tube

    It works very well, I do not tan and do not burn wearing this sunblock. Lasts all day unless at the beach. The finish is too glowy/dewy for me but a little foundation over it works fine. It feels, when applying, like it will be too heavy, but that does not last. Never burns my eyes, and it does protect the skin, I bike to work and this helps both with sun and wind, my face does not dry out. Package size is too small for a daily sunscreen, it runs out too fast.

    gifted by prequelskin. I really enjoy this sunscreen! I always find with mineral sunscreen it leaves a horrible white cast and even though I'm pale it always makes me look ghostlike but this doesn't do that and it doesn't break me out! Which I really appreciated.

    A special sunscreen

    I've been wanting to write a review about this sunscreen for a while now. It's interesting because I have dry skin but I find this sunscreen to be too greasy when used on my face and maybe a little irritating on my sensitive skin. I must say that recently I've been wanting to try it on my face again. With that being said, I absolutely LOVE using this sunscreen on my neck and chest. So much so that I have repurchased it 4 or 5 times already. I can only use mineral sunscreen but for me, by the end of the day, mineral sunscreen can start to feel a little dry and that can make your skin look a little older than it is while the sunscreen is on. Well, not this one! The last thing you want on an aging neck is dry sunscreen. This sunscreen keeps your neck looking hydrated and supple all day, as well as feeling hydrated and comfortable. I don't even have to apply moisturizer before I apply this sunscreen to my neck. It's that wonderfully hydrating. It feels so good when applying. I don't know how to explain this, but some sunscreens can give your skin kind of resistance that doesn't look good on the tops of your hands and neck. This one doesn't do that and feels and looks hydrating on crucial areas like the tops of your hands and your neck. This sunscreen certainly has a very important part in my sunscreen routine! It would be very hard to replace it. For my neck, I do not want to be without this sunscreen!

    Pills easily

    This sunscreen is so greasy which isn’t that surprising for a mineral sunscreen. But the worst part is that it pills so easily, you can’t even use the recommended amount without it pilling off your face!!! It also burns my eyes! I’m giving it three because it doesn’t leave a terrible white cast (medium olive skin) and some of the ingredients are nice, but overall would not repurchase.
