    Severe rash with new bottle

I don’t know what ingredients theyve changed in this lotion but since I bought this new bottle, I have developed a pretty severe rash from this product. To be certain, I stopped using for about two months and last night tried again. Woke up in the middle of the night with my neck on fire. Last time it took about 3 weeks for the rash to subside. Please go back to the old formula- whatever you changed Goldbond, I really hate it.

    Hydratint lotion

This lotion is very moisturizing but doesn’t leave a greasy feeling behind. I have recently switched from another brand to this after starting with the gold bond hand cream. I noticed my hands were looking more plump and not showing signs of aging as much. I am in my 40’s and really trying to take care of my skin to prevent signs of aging and do really feel this line helps. Not to mention it’s priced very well.

    Dead fish smell

Smells like dead fish. I called to report the concern to Gold Bond, as well as ask if the product was usable. I thought it may have been expired stock. There was no best used by date on the packaging. Gold Bond advised they are not required by the FDA to stamp products with best use by or expiration dates. They did nothing to try to replace or rectify the situation so I discarded the product.

    Hydroxyacetophenone added now

There are 2 added ingredients to this new formula, citric acid and Hydroxyacetophenone. Hydroxyacetophenone is known to cause allergic reactions and contact dermatitis. Be careful when using this new formula. Picture of old ingredients for comparison.

gave me a rash - allergic itch

I bought this a few months ago and it seemed to really smoothe out my skin (I'm 60). But after a short time I started having severe hives, rashes, itches on my chest and stomach, piercing neddles on my arms. I stopped using everything that could be possibly causing this, including this lotion. All my allergic reactions dissapeared. Yesterday I used this lotion for the first time again in months and woke up this mornimng with all the allergy symptoms again. Nope - in the trash it goes. Such a pity as I liked the smell and the feel of product and it really helped with my wrinkly skin.

Results are noticible within a day or two

I’ve not had much luck finding a lotion that I don’t have to apply multiple times a day. This lotion has been a game changer. My Dr actually recommended this. Absorption is amazing, finally not so self conscious of my legs. They look really good. Very happy for the first time in years!

    More than just a lotion

This definitely worked!! I used it on my legs and have noticed results within one bottle use. I did not experience an allergic reaction. The price is a little steeper than I would like, but if you want smooth skin, it is worth every penny.

    Adverse reactions - ouch!

After a single use, I experienced one of the worst adverse reactions I’ve ever had. Intense burning, redness, itchiness, swelling, welts, hives - at every place this lotion touched. Currently on day 4 of this, requiring antihistamines around the clock. I’ve never had issues with any of the other Gold Bond products I’ve used before, but now I’m afraid to use any of them again. It’s not worth the chance of another reaction like this.

BE AWARE - PER OTHER REVIEWERS, MAY CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTION

other reviewers are correct. I also experienced a horrible itchy rash that led to red welts. I now have dark marks all over my neck and chest. My ordeal led to a Dermatologist visit. My skin looked burned. My tube did not have an ingredient list! And my Dermatologist could not identify the allergan. It does need to be banned.
