Q: Hi, Does the case auto charge the earbuds similar to what it is in the Samsung earbuds pro cases or case must be connected to a source of power?

submitted by Mohamed - 11 months ago
  • A: Thanks for the question Mohamed! The charging case doesn't need to be connected to a source of power - the case will charge the earbuds automatically when the buds are in there. You only need to plug the case into power if you want to charge the case itself.

Q: How does the noise cancellation compare to the headphones?

submitted by Tim - 2 months ago
  • A: This question is subjective to each customer. If you're unsure as to which product you'd prefer - headphones or earbuds - it may be worth trying both, and then returning the product you're less satisfied with insofar as this is possible via the seller's returns policy.

  • A: Hi Tim, thanks for reaching out about Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. While both the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds and the QuietComfort Headphones are known for excellent noise cancellation, there are some key differences: QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds: Strengths: More effective noise cancellation overall: Generally, the Ultra Earbuds edge out the Headphones in terms of pure noise reduction, especially in the higher frequencies. This means they might be slightly better at blocking out things like voices or sirens. Adaptive noise cancellation: The Ultra Earbuds have a feature called ActiveSense Aware that automatically adjusts the noise cancellation based on your surroundings. This means you can stay aware of your environment while still enjoying some noise reduction. Weaknesses: Less passive isolation: Because of their in-ear design, earbuds generally provide less passive noise isolation than over-ear headphones. This means that some lower-frequency sounds might not be blocked as effectively. QuietComfort Headphones: Strengths: Better passive isolation: The over-ear design of the Headphones creates a good seal around your ears, which helps to passively block out more noise, especially in the lower frequencies. More comfortable for some: Some people find over-ear headphones more comfortable for long periods of wear, especially if they have sensitive ears. Weaknesses: Slightly less effective active noise cancellation: While still excellent, the Headphones' active noise cancellation might not be quite as powerful as the Ultra Earbuds, particularly in the higher frequencies. Less portable: Over-ear headphones are generally bulkier and less portable than earbuds. 100% do not recommend. If you lose one, they’re worthless. There’s not a feature to help find the missing one. Contacted Bose for support and this was confirmed by the two different agents I spoke with. Only option was to buy a new pair. I cut my losses and bought AirPods instead, which I should’ve done in the first place.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience, we understand how frustrating it is to lose an earbud, especially without a way to track it. While we do offer replacement parts for certain models, it’s true that not all earbuds have a “find my” feature. Your feedback is valid and appreciated, and we’ll be sure to pass it along to the team. Kind Regards, Eric V. - Bose Customer Support

I only owned this product for about 12 hours. The active noise cancelling was phenomenal and I couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately, the ear tips were incredibly uncomfortable for me. I've read that a lot of users love the oval-shaped ear tips, but they do not work with my ears. They made them feel irritated and painful after about an hour. I ended up returning these earbuds. I really wanted to love these. Unfortunately, this type of issue is only something a few users will experience, and it's not something you can determine before using the product.

I am really torn. By FAR the absolute best Audio and Noise Cancelling I have ever experienced with earbuds. And the fit is perfect. My problem is with the microphone and the lack of noise cancelling when using these for phone calls. Other people tell me that I sound distant or that they hear all the background noise when talking to me. I was hoping for something better given the price.

I'm not someone that uses earbuds daily so as you can imagine the price initially put me off upgrading from my ***** ones that I've had for a few years now and are uncomfortable after a short time. We were off on holiday with a flight time of 6 hours and with no wish to listen to people whining and the constant drone of the engines for the duration I took the plunge and purchased them. WOW! The noise cancelling is phenomenal when the immersive function is enabled and the sound quality is as you would expect, second to none from Bose. They are as comfortable as can be expected for anything pushed into your ear but even after hours of use at no time did I think they had to be removed to give my ears a break. The build quality is good giving you the feel that they will be an item that will last. Connection to your devices is seamless once the app is installed. I also purchased the wireless charging case which is brilliant for the ease of just placing them on my charging station and protection during use as the case is usually just dropped in my pocket or bag. Summary; Expensive yes but you are paying for Bose quality and if you buy cheap you often buy twice. To me they are worth every penny and I would highly recommend them.

Great for music and podcasts when they work and don't disconnect from my phone. This has happened a few times since I bought them a couple wks ago. Double as terrific earplugs for concerts and loud public transit. However they are absolutely unusable when trying to have a phone conversation. I've tried so many different settings and the person on the other end either can't hear me or can barely hear me mixed with lots of ambient noise. Still considering returning these as the phone call performance is almost a deal breaker.

I find that the fit in ear is very comfortable but they’re prone to falling out. I had originally purchased for my motorbike to use the sound deadening feature for on road music but their a tad too large and digs into my ear but for walking good but the right ear pops continually and both do when I run. Disappointing to say the least. I could have spent far less and got same without the popping! Ok I could run without that feature but I don’t like the outside noise. My choice. I will be selling them

only two which eliminates human voices, to filter out distracting chatter. Ultra has gives Music experience while this one has clearer mic for phone calls. I have a few things to mention about this product. Firstly, make sure the earphone is securely pressed into your ear; otherwise, it will pause when the sensor isn’t activated. I don’t mind this, as I actually prefer it over my other earphones that keep playing and wasting battery when I’m not listening. In terms of comfort, these earphones are excellent. I can wear them all day without any complaints. However, when I’m in a busy place with no sound playing, the noise cancellation can feel slightly uncomfortable—but that depends on individual sensitivity. While it doesn’t completely block out very loud noises, I’d say it cancels about 95% of ambient sound when walking on the streets or at home. The sound quality is outstanding.
