Q: I bought this for my 4 year old and when I tried to hook it up to turn it on it just makes a buzzing sound. Nothing else. My son was real upset so before I return it I wanted to find out if maybe it is just broken or if I’m doing something wrong.

A: You have to put it in the right place on the record. There is an outside and inside track. If it’s not placed right, this is the sound you get.

A: I bought two of these and same thing. I've changed the batteries out for fresh duracells and checked the volume. There's nothing left to troubleshoot that I can think of. Disappointing.

A: Once you take the clips off and take out of box it turns off demo mode. Once out of the box Remove the paper disc in order for it to work

Q: Is it normal for it to only play for a few seconds? This is my second one and even after removing the paper cover from the player it only plays for a few second and then stops.

A: When it is removed from the package you must twist the white fasteners. Once they are twisted and removed the product should come out of try-me mode. You can see the little black button in the hole. Check to see if there is any plastic from the fastener stuck in there and then remove it. This toy is awesome for the price. $25 is such a steal! The record player is very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Each record has 4 songs, 2 on each side, for a total for 20 songs. I got it as a birthday present for my 3 year old, and it is perfect for his age level, but my older two sons, age 5 and 7, also have had fun with it and enjoy the songs and playing the records. All in all this is a great purchase and I am so happy to have it in the toy arsenal.

My kids love this, but the records are constantly lost
Super cute, durable, songs are a fun twist on classics and new stuff. Absolutely dumb record storage for the age group this is intended for, but cute in theory. My toddlers have ripped all the sleeves and we're constantly losing the reords which now live in a plastic bag which we try to keep with the player. The OG player had storage within the actual machine for all the records to keep everything together and that was a design that should have continued.

Poor quality
Only two of the five records played music out of the box. This seems like a weird quality issue, the record player itself is clearly fine as the other records played immediately without problem. But 3 of them will not play either track on either side, the disc rotates for a while before the player switches off. We checked out was in play not demo mode and that didn't fix it.

Great gift for your music loving toddler
My 3 year old received this for Christmas and it has been such a hit. He loves changing out the songs and now can play music just like his big brother. We love it. I just wish there was an option to buy additional discs.
