Issues with instructions and crooked rim
We found multiple issues in the instructions, and the way they presented in the book, it doesn’t make it easy to follow along at times. My biggest issue, though, is how the rim was welded on the base crooked. It’s so bad, it’s an inch off. There were two of us putting it together and we verified everything was followed correctly. I was also surprised that my 11-year-old son wasn’t even tall enough to adjust the basketball hoop to the lowest setting. You would think it would be constructed better, as it is for kids. For the price we paid, I’m highly disappointed.

Hard to put together and up.
We’ve only had it up for two days so far but putting it together was not easy. You definitely need a few people. You definitely need tools like my Husband has thank goodness. But the reading directions some of them don’t make sense on where a washer needs to go. So we did have to undo a few things many times. Definitely watch videos. Unfortunately for this basketball hoop the videos you have to find different ones to apply to this particular design.

new basketball hoop and pole
i replaced the Lifetime with a Lifetime. The other one had lasted more than 12 years and would have lasted longer except the original owners / installers didn't put the cap on the pole allowing water / bird nests etc. I like the new one and expect it to last. I did end up two inches under 10' due to not following the directions.

Good Product
I have my net up and it is working great. I did have to conserve customer support when I couldn't get the gas cylinder to fit but they sent me a smaller part to connect it to and everything is perfect now. Free and quick for getting the part, even to Canada from USA.
