Very frustrating packaging
Very tough to open. I was completely shocked. You cannot release battery by turning wheel. It is necessary to hack through plastic. That's inconvenient at home, but it also makes it useless to carry this in your pocket These are impossible to open in a public setting when you don't have tin snips or scissors. I attached photo after I cut 2 of these loose. You think I am misunderstanding, so I also provide photo of instructions. I've bought many brands of hearing aid batteries and these are the only ones that are so tough to open. I've got an old Duracell battery case, maybe I will move these over.

We have changed the packaging format to be in compliance with Reese’s Law, which states that all button, coin and hearing aid batteries – and devices powered by those batteries – must be contained in child-resistant packaging that features specific warning copy. The products have been subject to rigorous independent tests, confirming that the new packaging is 100% child resistant*, and zero batteries were accessed by children during CRP testing.* The new plastic dial includes additional staking points for extra security. By that nature it does mean that there will be a difference for users in how to access batteries in the pack, compared to previous packaging. The independent testing also showed that 99% of seniors were able to open the pack for the first time in under one minute*. On the second attempt, this time halved* so we found that consumers become faster with more familiarity and with instruction. They last too long, my geriatric patients used them in their headphones and they are of excellent quality I cared for patients in a nursing home and those were always our favorites!

Im afraid my child got ahold of his grandparents and put one inside his ear. And it lodged in deep! I've been afraid of these ever since. They should come in a case locked

Long lasting
My grandpa used them all the time for his hearing aids, it lasted longer than any other brand. I 100% recommend it, also for kids toys are absolutely helpful, again, they are very long lasting for the electronics and other home supplies you need for your daily life.

Bad packaging design!
Worst design ever! You have to cut these packages to get any out, which is still hard to do! There are sharp places on the plastic, and since the batteries are between 2 layers of plastic, they still don't open without putting something in between the layers. I have broken fingernails, and gotten cuts from this packaging! plus, you have to cut so hard, it screws up the sharp part of your scissors. It's a terrible design! You need to go back to the old style, or at least invent something that older people can access more easily.. Please!!

Batteries might be OK but ...
The childproof packaging is AWFUL. who travels with a pair of scissors in their pocket to open a hearing aid package? Totally impractical and the ONLY option at Target and many other pharmacies. Really have to search to find better design with Duracell.

Normally I use a cheaper brand but I found I have to change them weekly so I have had to go to energizer as I only use my aids in the day. These lasted a week and a haif and a generally more reliable and longer lasting battery .

Hands down great product
Definitely worth the cost , great product long lasting for my hearing aid. The sound quality is excellent, this product is strong and reliable. The packaging is easy to access with many individual batteries. Overall I highly recommend this product to anyone!
