The UCS Tie Interceptor is a visually stunning and detailed model that offers a rewarding building experience, especially for Star Wars fans. While the intricate design and techniques are impressive, some guests noted that the build can be repetitive, particularly with the wings. The final product looks fantastic on display, but care is needed during assembly due to its fragility. Overall, it is a great addition to any collection, providing both enjoyment and a sense of accomplishment.

FINALLY. NO. STUPID. STICKERS
Has LEGO finally figured out that they need to start catching up to the competition and STOP cheaping out with the awful sticker sheets? I hope so.

Worst set ever
I been a Lego Star Wars fan most of my life. This by far is the worst set I ever built. This set it fragile, pieces fall off regularly and the stand leaves a lot to be desired. Whoever designed this set did a horrible job. Once I about finished it, the stand and everything fell apart. A giant waste of money, I am not even tempted to glue it back together. Belongs in the trash because it’s a trash set. Really going to consider the next time I get a set.

If your set seems like it's not very sturdy, the best thing to do is double-check your build. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. You'll also want to make sure that all the pieces are pressed tightly together. Feel free to reach out to us at LEGO.com/Service if you need assistance!

Solid Build
Its a great build if you enjoy the UCS sets from the Star Wars line. Its not really playable, more of a model but it looks great displayed and it was a pretty fun build, there was some repeated sections when building the wings but it shouldn't deter anyone who enjoys a great looking build.

Awesome set!
Love the detail on this! Here's the good and not-as-good: > The cockpit detail is awesome. Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to actually see it once it's fully assembled > The solar panels are impressive and nicely detailed, including the greebling (sp?) on the antistud side. However, it shouldn't come as any surprise that building them is a bit repetitive > The stand is well designed, but I wish there was a bit more variability in how it can be displayed Bottom line: I love this set! The UCS Millenium Falcon is obviously more impressive, but I am really enjoying being able to play and the "swooshability" of the Tie Interceptor

Awesome display piece
This set is a really great display piece and looks fantastic as long as you don’t touch it too much as it is a bit fragile, but that’s to be expected. Consider considering the build techniques used.

Got this in the recent May 4th event as my first UCS set. Overall, I'm very happy - mostly enjoyable build, and the presence of it is fantastic. Now to save up for the next one 😅

Tie Interceptor
I got this set for the May 4th promos as my first UCS set, great set other than building it is a little repetitive once you get to the wings (once you build one, I highly recommend building the other 3 as fast as possible) the Tie pilot minifigure is great and it looks great on display

Perfect
I’ve had my eye on this one for a while. It did not disappoint. The UCS collection is awesome. Fun to build together with my son. Only problem is making room for all these sets.

Awesome UCS Build.
Finally ended up getting this set for May the 4th deals. Goes very nicely with all my other star wars ships. The only thing is watch where you grab to attach wings or some of the smaller parts will definitely come off. But it was nothing too bad. Overall very happy with the final product.

Awesome set, but the wings...
I think that the cockpit looks incredible, packed with so many interesting techniques to get that spherical shape. However, the building process of the wings was quite repetitive. I don't know how they are able to improve on this as this ship has four identical wings, but another hunch on the wings is that I would like to see more griebling on the side of the wings. It just looks a bit dry. Yes, it is giving off that nostalgic, early LEGO look, but looking at it now, the wings just need that extra bit of tiling around it, really to give it some depth.

Great build and even better as a shared experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the LEGO Tie Interceptor through Influenster, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I built it with my younger brother as a gift since he's a huge Star Wars fan, which made the whole experience even better. The build itself was really satisfying. It felt detailed without being frustrating, and it was fun seeing it come together piece by piece. Building it together made it feel like more than just a set, it was something we could both enjoy and get excited about. What stood out to me was the level of detail in the design. Even while building it, you can tell a lot of thought has gone into how it all fits together, and it doens't feel like a basic set. It feels like something made for people who genuinely enjoy both LEGO and Star Wars. The finished model looks amazing on display. It has the sharp, iconic TIE Interceptor design and feels sturdy and well made. My brother absolutely loved it, which says a lot. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to a Star Wars fan. It looks great, the build is enjoyable, and it ended up being a really nice shared experience.

Outstanding
This is my second UCS set, and it won’t be my last. Thoroughly enjoyed the build, and it looks fantastic on my bookshelf. It didn’t take quite as long to build as my 2020 A-Wing did, despite having more pieces, which I’m chalking up to the more symmetrical design of a TIE vs a rebel ship. Fewer random, unique details on one side or the other, and the wing sections are identical, so you almost don’t need the instructions by the time you get to the third section. Would highly recommend this set for anyone looking to get into the UCS game but lack the funds or apartment space for some of the larger sets.

Exceptional Interceptor
Whilst not an avid Star Wars fan or collector, my relatively recent rediscovery of Lego sets brought me to this piece for its well designed aesthetic. The build itself was well structured, concise and thorough thanks to the instructions. Having just completed it, this piece sits well on its own due to a considerable effort toward detail and aesthetic.

My first ucs
This set is by far my favourite in my collection as the tie interceptor is one of my if not my favourite Star Wars ship. This set is perfect down to the last detail and was my first ucs set. I will be buying more from the ucs line. Incredible size. Nice detailing, and incredible part usage.

Awful
First 2 days of this were great everything was going fine but then it all started with one peice falling off that led to hundreds of others. I spent 2 hours a day for 5 day straight trying to fix it but it just kept falling off. I got to bag 13 before I had to quit.
