The cooler is praised for its lightweight design and impressive ice retention, making it ideal for camping, road trips, and outdoor adventures. Guests appreciate its spacious interior and thoughtful features like dual drain plugs and a freezable divider. However, some concerns about durability and scratching have been noted. Overall, it serves as a reliable companion for keeping food and drinks cold for extended periods, especially in warm weather.

Not a great first time experience

I bought this for my husbands birthday gift, he works outside all day every day so I knew having access to ice cold water was going to be very beneficial for him. This cooler was pre-chilled per the directions and sits inside of his truck not exposed to any sunlight. We put in 2 large bags of ice and within 2 days or less the ice has pretty much melted, so we are buying ice way more than what I thought this cooler was capable of. The cooler has sweated so much the entire time we’ve used it, it has soaked the backseat of my husbands truck. We’ve checked the drain plugs to ensure they are screwed on tight but it still sweats a lot. This has been a not so great first experience with a cooler but maybe we are doing something wrong? The good things about it is the size. It’s big enough to hold a good amount of drinks with ice. I like the color and the bottle opener can be useful too.

Seems like a high quality cooler. Drains sweat so bad it’s like a leak. Hard to put in back of a truck with dry clothes.

Awesome, took it camping for 3 days

Amazing. Took it camping in 80 degree weather, ice didn't melt for 6 hours. It was also in a car without a/c in 80 degree weather, so it was blisteringly hot, but the ice still didn't melt for several hours. No leak, lots of space, very durable. Held food for two people to last 3 days. Wasn't even completely full. A little heavy, but handles are nicely constructed so carrying isn't a terrible ordeal. Lid closes very effectively and very well sealed. Interesting construction with a "rubber" latch to create an airtight seal. It's nice that it doesn't need to be "snapped" shut, I feel like it's more accessible that way, and probably easier. Design is very nice, the blue color is very pleasing on the eyes.

I added two large reusable ice packs and froze the freezable food items before adding and without adding ice this kept my food cold over a 4 day camping trip! Fabulous design! I bought the divider and insert and made it even better for keeping dry food cool but not wet!

Spent a considerable amount of money on this cooler for my husband for Father’s Day… The cooler leaks from the drainage ports even though they are closed, first time we used it woke up to floor full of ice water, my cheap cooler doesn’t even leak like that… also the rtic logo on the cooler looks like it want finished, has extra plastic around the logo that manes it look unfinished…overall just ok unfortunately.

One of the drainage spouts leaks. Glad I tested this out at home before trying it out on a fishing trip.

Best cooler yet

The updated design and light weight of this cooler is so much easier to use than the YETI it replaced. Having dual drains with one that is larger also helps with draining water and cleaning. Couldn't be happier with this cooler.

Bought this for forth of July weekend, we filled it up, put ice in it & loaded it for an hour drive, when we got there, we opened the trunk & it was drowned in water. We checked and the cooler was fully sealed & the drain was fully sealed. I’m definitely returning this product & just going to get something better at Academy

Good little cooler. It's a nice size for our boat and I like the color. Took a star off because it doesn't keep ice as well as our 52 qt version.

Leaking but excellent specs

Cooler specs are fantastic, I love that this is a cooler that can be easily moved around by one person and has more interior space than similarly sized roto-molded coolers while still maintaining excellent ice retention. Size and weight are ideal for my needs. The right drain plug leaked upon purchase, which is unfortunate and disappointing for a new product. Their QC or design should be better. Still, this was an easy fix with some putty to stop the leaking, and I can always use the other (non-leaking) side as a drain as well.

Lots-o-condensation from plugs

Great cooler, only complaint is the drain plugs condensation one both sides. So be super aware of where cooler will be sitting such as truck seats, wood floors or fancy antique tables, ect. I found out the hard way, so this is my gift to you!!! Keep it in the truck bed or outside on the ground.

I really like the size and color of the cooler—it looks great and holds plenty. Unfortunately, it leaks from the large drain cap, which was really disappointing. Hoping the manufacturer can address this issue

Disappointed leaking

Bought for 2 week road camping trip after first long drive leaked in the back seat of my car from the large drain. The small one doesn’t leak. Emptied everything out checked and tightened drain, waited 20 minutes looked ok, but still leaking just slower. This is extremely disappointing and I hope I don’t have any problems returning this defective cooler.

Good, but poor assembly
2 out of 5 stars

I was looking for a high quality leak free cooler to replace my old cooler and take on vacation in our new car. After many hours of review I decided yours was the one to get. I tried to order it in sage or trailblazer but I could not get it with the net. So I had to settle with white and got name logo on top, it looked good. I got my car loaded and loaded the cooler with ice and drinks and put them in the car. We drove 12 hours and when we got to our destination there was water all in the back of our SUV, thank goodness I had a blanket next to it that absorbed a lot of it. After drying out the back, I emptied out the cooler and found that it was leaking at the nut on the large plug. I took the plug assembly out and found that both of the elastic seals were on one side. I took the seals and put one on each side (one inside and one outside) and put it back together and it stopped leaking. I am a Quality Manager by trade and this was a non-compliance of finished product. I am not sure how I recommend this product. After I fixed it it does seem to be a very good cooler, but people could not and should not have to fix it to use it.
