    Vanilla Muffin Coffee Cake with strawberry jam

    I used the Gluten-Free Vanilla Muffin Mix in a 13x9 pan and swirled strawberry jam through the batter to make a "coffee cake". Baked it at 350° for about 25 minutes. Added the glaze after it cooled.

    These muffins were fabulous and so quick and easy to make! I added 1 teaspoon of almond extract and they tasted like wedding cake. My coworkers said, "These are gluten free?!?"

    A fine GF choice for breakfast

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't necessarily adhere to a 100% GF diet, but I try to make concious decisions to eat GF when available and when I can. These are a great choice for a non-irritating breakfast. I enjoyed making an entire batch at the beginning of the week and grabbing two or three on the way into my office in the morning. I added some homemade berry puree for a touch more sweetness and was satisfied until my 11:00am lunch hour. I'm not looking for a luxury muffin for a grab and go breakfast so the simplicity of this mix fit my needs and flavor profile I was looking for. 100% would recommend and would buy more.

I tried one right out of the oven and I was honestly not impressed, I thought it was bland, but after they had sat out for a few hours and cooled I tried another one and it was very tasty. They just need to marinate for a bit, lol! The texture is soft and moist, you can taste the vanilla, and the glaze is sweet. We really like them, we'll definitely buy more.

We put some icing on them but they are yummy without it. You mix it up and go and that’s it! I love that it’s gluten free which makes it easy on our stomachs.

I did add some different fruits to my muffins which I can say that they are delicious with it without them. I'm no chef so mine muffins weren't "pretty" but who cares they still all got eaten lol I will be buying these gluten free vanilla muffins again.

I usually make them from scratch, but i needed to make some for a person who is allergic to gluten, so I used a box of Krusteaz gluten free vanilla muffin mix and they were delicious. I love all the Krusteaz mixes and used many different ones in the past. The Krueteaz mix was easy to prepare and the instructions were accurate. I added some butter and rum flavorings to this vanilla mix and they tasted great! A delightful glaze mix was also included in the box - yummy! Easy peazy! Highly recommended.
