L'Oréal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Lengthening Mascara and Basecoat - 570 Black - 0.33 fl oz: Phthalate-Free

It seems that Loreal may have changed the formula for this product. It has been my tried and true, go-to mascara for years! It lengthened and defined my lashes, it didn't smudge or flake off - but it did wash off easily with soap and water. Perfection!! The last 3 tubes I've tried all have the same issue. It will not wash off. I don't want to risk pulling out my eyelashes trying to remove this stuff. What happened??

I've been using Double Extend since 2009. It's literally the only mascara that doesn't smudge under my eyes. My only complaint is that eventually it will start to flake a little bit after the tube is a few months old. It's affordable enough though that I throw that one away and buy a new tube. I really don't know what I'll do if L'Oreal ever stops making this mascara

I purchased this based off internet hype...& I hate it. Not for me, I think there are better options. I don't find that it comes off as easy as the influencers show (for me)...

I would give it a negative rating if it was possible. It’s difficult to even tell I put on mascara. I love the voluminous mascara I’ve used for many years, but when I couldn’t find it anywhere I bought this. BIG mistake. HUGE.

I like that it's 2 in 1. It's very easy to remove with just warm water. It's also waterproof!

Why did they leave it on my snow covered patio??????

I've been using this mascara for years. It is highly underrated. Much cheaper than other tubing mascaras. I honestly think that L'Oreal should spend more $ promoting this product.

Best Mascara Ever, been using it loyally for years and years!

This is the only mascara that I’ve found that can go for a full day in 100+ degree weather with no smudging or flakes. I’m talking, this mascara stays put in heated yoga. In a summer Disney day. It’s amazing and stays put better than the dozen far more expensive ones I’ve tried.

I've been using this mascara for years. I've tried expensive mascaras, less expensive mascaras and this is the only one I've found that doesn't result in racoon eyes at the end of the day. When applying, I apply the white side and about a minute/2 mins later, apply the mascara. I found that letting the white only sit too long doesn't allow the mascara to apply easily. To remove, I let warm water run on my face and the mascara comes off. It comes off in clumps, so don't be alarmed.

Step 1 - the primer - was empty. I couldn't figure out what was supposed to happen until I saw an online review and it showed a white primer that you could actually see on your lashes. The quality control needs to be stepped up!

I couldn't find my usual mascara L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Superstar Washable Mascara, Blackest Black, so I thought I'd try this L'Oreal product (it looked similar) What a mistake! It is a nightmare to remove. No matter what method I try to use to remove it I would have a black residue on my face. Never again!

I have loved this tubes mascara for years! I have sensitive eyes with chronic dry eye syndrome, and this stuff is the best I found

Cons: 1 ) The Step 1 - Nourish & Protect is white: I think the way to improve upon this would be for L’Oreal to make the color just a few shades lighter than the intended result. 2 ) Stains: If it weren’t for the fact that this mascara has SO MANY other INCREDIBLE qualities, I would remove a star for this. If it happens to come off, which should be nearly non-existent, it will stain. I am yet to find anything that will remove it from fabric. 3) Only comes in two shades of black. Where is the variety? Pros: 1) Volume: This mascara is serious about providing thickness and length. 2 ) Tears-proof: Yes, within the past 2+ years I have cried in this mascara plenty and it hasn’t budged. 3 ) Oil-proof: I have oily skin, brows, and eyelids. All previous “waterproof” non-tubing mascaras will melt or flake below my lower lid by the end of the day. This one looks as good at the end of the day as it did at the beginning. 4 ) Blizzard-proof: This mascara has been tested multiple times in snowy, blizzard-like conditions and doesn’t budge one bit. 5 ) Sweat-proof: I’ve worked out and even had sweat stinging my eyes, more times than I can count, but this mascara will not run or smudge or flake. It remains flawless. 6 ) Humidity-proof: I have traveled to humid areas of the U.S. multiple times since having this mascara and it absolutely stayed put. 7 ) Waterproof: Mostly yes, but also no. I have been in pools, hot tubs, in the ocean, and of course my shower, and wash my face in the sink. I have been splashed in the eyes in all these places. Just getting the mascara wet, even with hot tub water, will not make it come off. It takes persistent wetness combined with rubbing to make it really come off. 8 ) Sleep-proof: Mostly. Firstly, I am not condoning sleeping in any mascara. You make that choice at your own risk. The results are likely to be a crapshoot unless you sleep with a giant dome-eyed face mask on. You may wake up with flawless lashes or your eyelashes may become clumped together or flake a little in your sleep. 9 ) Lasts for a long time: Yes, you already know from various things I’ve said that this mascara is figuratively bullet-proof. But one tube of it also seems to last a lot longer than I expected it to. L’Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara may have a name that’s excessively long (just like this review), and it may not sound very cool or sexy, but it will be the mascara you pray will never be discontinued and the mascara you’ve waited for your entire life. Now make it in Brown, L’Oreal!
