Install it in doorways or hallways quickly & easily using the included no-drill pressure mount system with adhesive wall cups that help protect your walls from damage. Or, use it at the top or bottom of stairs with included hardware (required for safe stairway installation). Recommended tools for hardware installation (not included): drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil, measuring tape. NOTE: Gate will appear bent at first, rest assured that this is not a defect and will be corrected upon proper installation.

Gate is OK, plastic is brittle, stopper broke
Stopper on the gate broke. The manufacturer can’t sell me the part to fix the plastic piece. Seems like a garbage excuse to make you buy another. Won’t happen for me.

Needs to fit all advertised sizes
Product does not fit dimensions advertised. The package says it is for 28 to 42 inches. My stairs are 39”. It should work. In the instructions it has multiple 1.5” gaps that are invalid. This is bad design.

Love the look and style - but latch doesn't work
We bought this gate almost 3 weeks ago and have been having problems with it latching once against the wall and extended out/tightened. It seems to us that the latch is installed at an angle and not straight on in order for it to latch. We love the look of the gate and love the way it's made, just unable to use it due to it not latching. We would rate a 5 otherwise.

Great puppy gate.
Great product. Easy to install, looks great. I bought the grey and it really looks nice with my current color scheme.Very well made, sturdy. I would buy this again if needed for another area.

Great gate for dogs and babies!
Great gate for containing our growing puppy! This is tall enough that she can't jump over it. We love the "stay open" feature on this gate.

Great gates!
Wish I knew about these gates years ago! I purchased a few of these for use with dogs, as I work with a giant breed rescue. l Most of the dogs have no concept of respecting barriers when they first come in. These gates will be very helpful in conjunction with training. Height and strength is perfect. Door can not be pushed open, even from the bottom. Opening it takes a bit to get used to, but that’s not a bad thing.

Extra Tall and Wide Safety Gate
Gate doesn't work for my space and i can't send back because i will have to pay for shipping. It'll cost more to ship than what i paid. Not happy with this at all.

Almost Perfect
Glad we purchased this gate. Very well made. Works perfectly and looks very nice. The only reason why im giving a 4 and not a 5 is because i I ordered white and got gray.

Don’t waste your time and money researching other baby gates. We bought two of SummerInfant gates and they’re very sturdy and practical. The money is 100% worth it. I can’t recommend this gate enough. I very rarely review products, but felt strongly about reviewing this gate.

Great gate. Love the additional height
Purchased two of these gates for our home to keep our dogs in the kitchen as well as, from long down the hall. Gates are easy to install and use. They are a great height and keep both of our dogs contained as intended. One thing to note, both gates were received and appeared slightly bent. Once installed they were perfect. I believe the ‘bend’ is due to the tension required for proper installation of the gate.

Good gate, one flaw
I don’t know why the gate would auto shut if it doesn’t lock back into place. It gives the appearance that the gate is locked when it’s not.

Easy to install and use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this gate about a month ago. We have a large opening in our home where a typical baby gate won't fit. I also have a mischievous 3 year old who climbs over typical gates. This gate fit perfectly and it's keeping him out of the kitchen. I was able to install myself, without screws, and quickly too. This is an A+ buy for us.

Best Baby Gate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this gate almost a month ago, and we have had no issues whatsoever. It was very easy to install, and the hardware mount option id what worked best for us. My favorite thing about this gate is the convenient auto close feature. It is especially helpful when my hands are full. Finally, the design of this gate is awesome. It does not throw off my house decor at all. I highly recommend this gate!

Easy to set up, easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this gate installed for about a month, on our second floor but not at the top of stairs. It was easy to set up, and it's easy to operate with just one hand (an important feature with baby gates, considering you've often got your baby in the other arm). The self-closing feature is great; didn't expect to use that as much as we do. Giving it 4 rather than 5 stars, because we haven't had it that long.

Looks Great, Easy to Install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our baby is on the move and we needed to block the basement stairs. The Summer Infant extra tall gate has given us peace of mind. First of all, I like the look of this. It doesn't have the appearance of the typical baby gate, so it could work for different situations. It's also very sturdy and the added height puts us at ease. Installation was simple, as was making adjustments to the knobs. To open it up is a 2-step process which gives an added layer of safety. I would recommend this product highly!
