I take two every morning for digestive health. If I miss a day, I know it! Tried several different brands and I like this one the best.

The brand was more of an economic choice than anything else offered for an Acidophilus product, but secondarily, it had a high probiotic content, and so I went with it; I'm not disappointed.

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Works especially well for Candida Albicans cleans. I have gotten my Mom, and 2 of my best friends on these and they are all thrilled with them. We all started noticing improvements in our digestion, right away (within the first couple of doses). One of my friends, against my advice, purchased a 2 week supply of a Candida cleanse probiotic blend for around $40. It was nowhere near enough product to get you through a cleans and then, of course, there is maintainance. I told her the name of this product and that it would likely be a better choice while also saving her a lot of money (especially if she bought it through Swanson). After feeling no results with the higher priced blend, she got on this and agreed that it is much better. Even my Mother, who NEVER listens to my advice, agrees that she will NOT let herself run out!!! It is definitely my first choice in probiotics. Of course, there are many other beneficial strains that our bodies also need, but this blend is what I've found to be most recommended by the professionals for Candida Albicans over population. Study up a bit and learn about all of the nutritional tools needed for healthy digestion. Then I think you will agree, this is the product to start with, then stay on! I hope this is helpful. :)

I have always been partial to the Bifidus strains of Beneficial Bacteria since before my eldest daughter was born in 1980. I remember specifically, because I had her on Bifidus from the time she was a baby. . . . Then my next three children, as well. I always felt that Bifidus was best for babies, then of course, children as they grew, and wonderful for adults, too. I came across this excellent product by NOW a long time ago. I really like what it does for my entire Gastrointestinal Tract and my Immune System. I firmly believe that one's Gut, Gastrointestinal Tract, is up there among the most important systems / organs of health, wellness, and life in every way. . . . Benefiting the Brain / Nervous System, Heart / Cardiovascular System, and Liver. Since almost everything that goes on in one's life all day everyday does damage to the GI Tract, it is of vital importance to fortify the entire GI Tract with copious replacements: zillions of hearty, live and powerful troops - - - Probiotics - - - every single day. I have always found that NOW's "8 Billion Acidophilus and Bifidus" product does a good job of this for me, along with a couple of other Probiotic products I work into the mix. Side note: I make fermented and pickled fresh vegetables regularly, as I know that Naturally Fermented Foods are extremely healthful in many ways, particularly for the GI Tract. Plus, I like them. I open up a capsule and put from 1/4 to 1/2 of a capsule-full, depending on the size of the container, of this Acidophilus / Bifidus Culture in each jar or container I prepare as a starter. I can easily recommend this product to you and your family.
