Looks a mess

I have had this rug for 3 years. It was great in the beginning but after about a month it started to come apart in many places. Now 3 years later it is frayed in many places and looks a mess.

Terrible Trip Hazard

Unfortunately this rug is a significant safety issue. I wasn't able to see this but the rug is "folded" under on 2 of the edges creating a big lip that is really easy to trip over. There's no way of fixing it unless you deconstruct the rug and see if it will lay flat. Really sad because otherwise it's a pretty rug.
