The curtains are designed to provide light blocking and enhance privacy, but many guests express disappointment as they do not achieve true blackout performance. While some appreciate the fabric quality and aesthetic appeal, others highlight issues with misleading advertising and insufficient light blockage. Guests recommend these curtains for their style and ease of installation, but caution those seeking complete darkness in their rooms.

Don't buy unless you don't need 100% block out
These look ok in the package. But once I got them out of the package I found they were thin, light blocking curtains not 100% as the package says. I did keep them because my windows are very short and I had to fold the curtains in half just about for the length I needed. The backing on curtains are black nylon type material.

Not blackout!
With a name like Sun Zero Blackout curtains I really thought they would block out the sun. Well they absolutely do not! Also could not get all the folds and wrinkles out after washing them. What a disappointment.

These are not blackout curtains.
Not even close to blackout, despite the packaging saying 100% total blackout and “100% light blocking”

Not even remotely blackout. They're super thin and light enough that you can literally see through them in daylight. It's simple just false advertising.

Do not buy. Not as described.
These are garbage. They are not insulated at all. The light shines right through them. Waste of money. Not worth the money at all. Thin flimsy fabric. Would return them but husband doesn’t want to hassle w taking them down. Going to pin old real insulated drapes over them.

Better then nothing.
Very thin. It’s more light filtering than blackout. Size and color is as expected. Curtains can be easily opened and closed.

Not Worth It If You Need Total Darkness
I was excited for these curtains, but they do not block out the sunlight as advertised. Even with both panels closed, I can still see bright light coming through. I ordered them specifically for blackout performance, but they are nowhere near true blackout. They’re nice quality fabric, but if you need real light blocking, these won’t do the job.

I bought these because my husband works night shift. It is definitely not 100% black out curtains. I just placed it side by side with our old curtains and you can clearly see the sun coming through. It has a blackout meter on the packaging that says it’s a level 4 but it’s more like a 3. It’s darkening but not completely blackout.

Not blackout at all!
Waste of time and money. These curtains are so thin and don’t block out the sun what so ever.
