    Vaseline Product needs protective seal

    I like this Vaseline a lot. I DO NOT like how this product does not have a protective seal on it like other skincare products. This is the second time I have done drive up at Target & have had to return my Vaseline because of something being in it or someone else’s thumb print is on the product!

    This is the best out of the healing jellies for dryer skin. It acts like a protective barrier, and allows your skin to heal and repair itself easier. While also providing extra moisture and other benefits from the cocoa butter. I love it as an overnight treatment for my face and as an overnight lip mask. Is lightly fragranced and it does smell lovely but it won’t be good for people who are sensitive to fragrances.

    Public health hazard

    This is my first time buying this product but I was surprised to see that jar was not sealed and lid was not secured with manufacturer’s tape. I would have a hard time to even assume that anyone flips the lid and that is it: their nose can get inside the fat and put it back on a shelf.

    Seems to be helping my flaky dry skin and the cocoa butter scent smells nice, better than ordinary Vaseline. Of course it is greasy so need to wash hands after applying. 13 o7nce size was a good value, it will last for quite awhile. Only complaint is there is no seal so a good amount of product was on the underside of the top lid and around edges, kind of messy.

    Product seems okay. A little softer and more spreadable than Palmers Cocoa butter, but smell is a little weird. However, the jar has no safety seal which caused it to spread to the lid. Also, the jar is about an inch low of being full. I can understand a little, but this looks like it has been partially used??

    The Best for Chapped Lips

    Nothing beats Vaseline for chapped lips. Clean-beauty advocates want you to believe that petroleum is bad for you, but petroleum jelly is filtered so it’s safe for personal use. Dermatologists will tell you that it’s an excellent moisturizer. The addition of cocoa butter to Vaseline makes it even better for lips. I keep this on my nightstand and use it every night.
