Missing pieces
I'd completed 5 bags of assembly. Got to bag #6 and have had 4 pieces missing! For the price I'd expect better quality contol. Now its a 2 week wait to get the missing pieces.

Great set and lots of fun
This is a great set for F1 fans! I had a lot of fun building the car, especially the engine and moving pistons, and now I am proudly displaying it on my shelf! The only thing that bothers me slightly about this set is that the engine cover sits on top of the engine, but does not lock into place, which makes the car hard to pick up sometimes if I try to lift it from there. Otherwise its a great build!

As most Lego products, this was top notch! Easy instructions, quality build, & for me therapeutic! I wish Lego had more F1 adult sets & I hope Target can carry more Adult sets! Next one I’m eyeing for the is Artemis set!

Overall this set is amazing with the design, but if you manage to make mistakes in the building process it takes forever to disassemble those parts.

NO idea what changed!
My Grandson and I have done the other 3 F1 cars, Most recently the Ferrari, 2 days ago... I HAVE NO IDEA what changed with the directions.... These are so awful.. Flip this, turn this, turn it back THEN put it here, outlined with a thin green line. The directions for the other 3 are so easy to read. THESE are as if it was someone's first time drawing up the directions...We have NEVER had to go back so many times to take pieces apart, and then reassemble a section. The best part is the 6338962's. LITERALLY had to get a small hammer and a punch to get these back out after rotating the car 5x from Sunday. Trying SO hard to finish it, but its SERIOUSLY getting on my nerves!

Simply lovely
I bought this set for myself at Christmas, took a few days to build it. I loved how beautiful this set turned out to be, but it was a bit frustrating to see 50 stickers and the rear tyres having the same size as the front tyres. Maybe on the next f1 1:8 scale car, I hope to see the rear tyres bigger than the front tyres and some printed pieces maybe, even though I understand that there's a lot of markings of the sponsors and it can raise the price of the set.

Error in Manifest
I'm enjoying this build and notice lots of positive reveiws. However, I ran into a brick wall (pun intended) while working on bag 4. Step 151 calls for part 6396963 (indicated in instructions with easy identifier 15), a 15 hole black beam. Fine. However, when step 155 called for another part 6396963 I couldn't find it. I didn't think I could have misplaced so large a piece, and I was right about that. Looking at the manifest I found that it only calls for one of that part. Sloppy, and I'm, puzzled why this has not been mentioned in other reviews. Perhaps my copy was very early in the product run and this error was remedied later on?

Fun project!
I got this as a gift for Christmas and I can't wait to build it. Got the Ferrari one last Christmas and it was so fun to build - my first technic as well. Slowly collecting them all!

Pass unless you're a huge fan
I got this build because I got it on sale. I don't think I'd do it again though. I have a few issues with this build: 1. Like so many others mention, why the heck can't these sets get a decent tire? Why do the speed champions builds that cost 10% of this one get appropirately sized rear tires? 2. The DRS function is sad. It barely opens. I thought I had done something wrong because it has such limited movement. 3. The front suspension also has limited movement. Its half, maybe less, of the movement of the rear suspension. 4. Soooo many stickers! Why aren't more of these pieces printed at this price point? And to make it worse, I had a sticker sheet that was not properly aligned so one side has graphics that aren't in line with the other. 5. The rear of the airbox looks great from the side and terrible from the rear. Its just 3 flat pieces so its completely open in the rear and is featureless. I only got this set because I'm a Max fan, otherwise I wouldn't have. Now that I've built it I'm not convinced it was worth getting. It was cool to see some of the features but others are disappointments.

Great…but not the RB19
Fantastic set, great build, perfect to bring out during the races. I just don’t follow why they didn’t make the RB19 that produced 21 wins out of 22 races.

Some steps are confusing
I was putting together the back wheel part and misplaces on of the pieces. I tried to get it out but after a few minutes I decided it would be easier to take the whole thing apart. Please read the instructions carefully, so you don't end up taking the thing apart like me.
