For the best results and to avoid smudging: Prep: Start with a high-quality eyeshadow primer like our NYX Professional Makeup Eye Shadow Primer to create a smooth, non-oily surface. Application: Shake the pen well before use and apply in a thin, even coat rather than a thick layer, and allow it to dry completely for about 30-60 seconds. Finish: Avoid rubbing your eyes, and use a high-quality, oil-based makeup remover like our NYX Professional Makeup Eye Makeup Remover to gently dissolve the formula without rubbing your lashes. Just bought this liner and I'm obsessed! I love micro liquid liner but it's hard to find one that offers a brown color. Love that this is offered in brown! I have green eyes and the brown makes my eye color pop! I went with milk chocolate and this will stay part of my makeup routine for a while!

You do not need any other eyeliner.
This is my favorite eyeliner. It’s very beginner friendly. It glides on smoothly, and feels like nothing is on your eyes. It’s so easy to create wings with, as the tip is such a fine point. I like to use the “base” or long part to create the line against my lash line. Whenever someone asks for an eyeliner recommendation it’s always this one.

Maybe too waterproof?
When they say waterproof, they MEAN IT. This stuff is nearly impossible to take off. So perfect for pool days, a good cry, etc. Not easy (or even possible??) to correct mistakes when applying. Applicator is hard to use to make smooth, even lines so the fact that is so waterproof and hard to fix errors is not ideal. But if you can put it on without mistakes, it will not budge for anything.
