    faulty lever

    The lever stopped working after several weeks. It won't stay down. It looks like a common problem based on other reviews. Gather will make you jump through hoops to fulfill the warranty. The toaster is good looking but won't last long.

    Bad toaster.

    love the style but it never toasted even. It burned the ends and left the middle more white. I will not recommend as it lasted 6 month, then proceeded to die.

    Concept; good. Execution; lacking.

    Reasonably priced and a great concept — just bad execution. It’s nice that it saves space but the toaster often only toasts one side completely and nothing on the other side. This toaster also gets stuck sometimes when the toasting is done. So if you walk away, you won’t hear it release and the bread will just sit in there until you wonder what’s taking it so long. Idk if these issues are the same with the regular width toaster but I’ll be replacing this with a more trusted brand and more good reviews.

    don't buy this

    I bought this last week and have used it several times. The toast comes out perfect on the number 3 setting. It is extremely easy to take out of the closet and on to the countertop. So far, very good.
