It’s so beautiful and elegant. I’m a Harry Potter fan and this is one of the best Legos I ever had.

Perfect for your Harry Potter Book Collection!
I bought this set with one goal in mind: displaying my Harry Potter books. It does that perfectly. The Book Nook looks amazing on a bookshelf. Once it's tucked between the books, it really feels like you're getting a glimpse of Platform 9¾ and the Hogwarts Express hidden behind the stories. It's one of those sets that looks even better in person than it does on the box. The build was fun from start to finish. I especially enjoyed putting together the station details and the brickwork along the platform. There are lots of little touches that make the scene feel alive without making the build overly complicated. Harry and Ron are great minifigures, and I was happy to see Hedwig and Scabbers included too. They add a lot of character to the finished display. What surprised me most is how sturdy it is. My Harry Potter books fit perfectly between the two sides, and everything stays in place without any issues. It's both a LEGO display and a practical bookend, which is a combination I didn't know I needed. As someone who collects LEGO from all kinds of themes, this is one of the most unique display sets I've built. If you're a Harry Potter fan and have the books on your shelf, this set is an easy recommendation.

Love, love, love this!
I so enjoyed building this, and it looks fantastic nestled in my bookcase. I really hope that Lego do more HP Booknooks - I'm sure there is so much scope!

Missed opportunity
It is a lovely piece and my seven year old son loved joining in with the build. However I feel like Lego missed a trick with making it a static piece rather than more interactive with hidden secrets like the Sherlock Holmes Book Nook. However, it will still have pride of place on our bookshelf with our son’s Harry Potter books!

Full of Easter eggs, easy to build and such a cool model. Either bookends or a booknook. Versatile and practical.

Cool Set
When I got this set, I immediately started building this and I was very happy with the final product. The detail is spot on, the build itself is very sturdy, and that little mirror sticker thingy on the barrier separating the two halves of the train makes it look like the train is actually passing through the books when you use it as a decoration to go with your books. The price per piece ratio is pretty good, which was a relief after seeing the price of some sets (I'm looking at YOU, republic juggernaut). Overall it is a fun set and a great gift for Harry Potter fans.

Poor design
I was very disappointed with this product. Considering the name book nook it didn’t close like a book nook but two separate pieces. It should have been called book ends. I Agee with “Not worth the money’s” review. The pegs were in a bad spot for the figurines.

It's a ok build, definitely not worth $99.99 it should be maybe $59.99 it took me about 35 minutes to put together. Nothing special, but love Harry Potter.
Not worth $100 bucks

THIS SET IS THE BEST
As a harry potter fan, this set is absolutely perfect, it comes with 2 perfect minifigures, with a quote for each of them on each side, and that hogwarts express build is pretty solid, the best part of the set isn't even technically advertised, as it works really well as bookends, or a book nook, lego did an amazing job!

Fun activity with a purpose!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had so much fun putting this together! As an adult, I stray from buying Lego sets as I don't "play" with them often. However, the Harry Potter bookends set allowed me to display my work in a functional way in my house! It took a few hours to put together, but it's sitting proudly on my bookcase right now. I hope Lego continues to make "functional" sets like these!
