Q: The specs state this is a 200 watt. However, if the vacuum is listed accurately by Bissell name on Target’s website, it should be a 280 watt not the 200 watt it states it is. Can you please confirm if this is 200 W or 280 W?
A: Thanks for your question, Candy! You're right to notice the difference. The version sold at Target (Model 4137) is rated at 200W, while the one listed on BISSELL’s website (Model 4039) has a 280W motor. Both are part of the FurGuard line, but the Target model is a slightly different version with lower wattage.

Q: Is this really a FurGuard? It looks like a FurFinder and seems to have a lower wattage. Plus, both the retail and sale amounts are less than the Bissell website.
A: Great question, Nick! It is Target's retail-specific version (Model 4137) with a 200W motor. The BISSELL FurGuard (Model 4039) sold elsewhere features a 280W motor and may offer stronger suction. Both include the FurFinder Tool and self-cleaning brush roll. Hope this helps!
submitted byBissell Team - 15 hours agoBrand expertA: Great observation, Nick! The BISSELL PowerClean FurGuard and FurFinder do look very similar, but there are a few key differences. The FurGuard typically features a 280W motor and a self-cleaning brush roll, while the FurFinder has a 200W motor and a tangle-free brush roll. If the version you're seeing has lower wattage or different specs, it may actually be the FurFinder or a retailer-specific variation. Pricing can also vary depending on the retailer and current promotions, so it’s not unusual to see different prices than on the BISSELL website.

Q: Other than color how does this differ from the one on Bissell's website?
A: Thanks for your question, Shay! While the PowerClean FurGuard at Target and the one on BISSELL’s website look similar, they’re slightly different models. The Target version (Model 4137) has a 200W motor, while the BISSELL version (Model 4039) features a 280W motor for a bit more suction power. Both are cordless, pet-friendly, and include the same great tools—just with a few performance differences.
submitted byBissell Team - 15 hours agoBrand expertA: Great question, Shay! The version at Target and the one on our website are functionally the same in terms of performance and features. Sometimes, retailers may list slightly different model numbers or packaging, but the core specs—like the 200W motor, self-cleaning brush roll, and HEPA Sealed Allergen System—are consistent across both versions. The main difference you might notice is the color or included accessories, which can vary by retailer.

Q: Is the battery removable to charge without being on the vacuum?
Q: Can this vacuum on a high pile rug?
Q: Do they come with attachments? Bc I see in photos you have that it was comes with the second attachment for the hand vaccum. I never got one
Q: Can the Bissell fur guard be used on luxury vinyl floors?
Q: Is this vacuum mainly for hard floors? Or can it work on carpet too?
A: Great question, Ross! The BISSELL PowerClean FurGuard is designed for both hard floors and carpets, but it really shines on hard surfaces. It features a self-cleaning brush roll and powerful suction that make it especially effective on tile, hardwood, and laminate. It can handle low-pile carpets, too.

Q: Does this model have lights?
Q: Do I need to mount it on the wall to charge?
A: Great question, Susie! You don’t need to mount it on the wall to charge. The BISSELL PowerClean FurGuard can be charged in two ways: either on the wall mount (if included) or by plugging the charger directly into the removable battery while it’s off the vacuum. This gives you flexibility depending on your space and setup.
