Ello Everyday Glass 4.5c 10pc Meal Prep Food Storage Container Set

Fine for meal prep but cracked in oven at 350 with chicken in it. Very disappointed.

I rarely write reviews but these meal prep containers are terrible. I had a plan to resume tracking my macros and wanted to meal prep my lunches for the whole week. I saw these at Target and bought them without looking at other reviews. That was a mistake. The lids do not close properly or stay closed so, although they nest nicely in the fridge after I am done prepping, when I take them out in the morning I have to put a rubber band around them to keep the lid on. I washed them by hand before first use so they could not have been warped in the dishwasher. And it wasn't just one lid but all 5 did not function properly. I tried pushing the lids down through the center and then also pushing down on the opposite corners at the same time. Still the lids pop off. Anyway, I'm done trying to make them work and I'm going to return them. You might as well prep your lunch and throw it in a Ziploc bag.

Two of them shattered in our toaster oven… first one I thought was maybe a flaw in it when made but two of them when just heating up leftovers… neither of them were stored in the fridge previously.. I took leftovers out of the fridge and put into containers to warm on 300F for 10 minutes. Says it is oven safe but I do not think it actually is.

The food stays fresh with a tight seal, its glass so non porous and no toxicity, and they - surprisingly- hold a lot of food! I have already lent one to my sister and I recommended some friends get them. This is a win!

DO NOT BUY! Tops do not stay on. USELESS!

At first I loved these storage containers but once you wash them, doesn’t matter by had or dish washer, the lids don’t fit. It’s so frustrating.

I thought I was crazy but after reading all the other reviews, these lids do not stay shut.

I originally thought that I was going to receive one small one of these and was blown away when I received the entire 10 piece set (5 containers and 5 lids). The glass is very nice and thick and seems very high quality and the lids snap on easily and are in 5 different colors, which I love. The containers nest nicely inside one another so they take up less space that other glass storage brands. The lids also nest together nicely. I also love that these are dishwasher safe and that the glass part can be used in the microwave. They have a nice weight to them and I look forward to freezing foods in them as well. So far I have had no problems with warping lids or with any of the containers breaking. I’m very impressed with these and look forward to getting rid of some of my other glass containers since these seem to suit me better. Thanks Ello! I highly recommend this product, especially if you prefer glass storage for your kitchen and have restricted space.

The lids do not stay on my husband has had several mishaps of spilled lunch, I do not recommend. I wish I could return them but I got rid of the box confident that I was buying a quality product from Target.

I like that they are dishwasher friendly. The size is perfect for a portioning out for the week and for me it doesn’t take up too much space in my fridge. Truly love the quality of these containers and hope they hold up over time.

I wish the seal was better because I wouldn’t feel safe transporting with this container, these containers are better for meal prep and keeping flat in the fridge.

I made the mistake of buying these containers, none of them close after one wash. I wash them by hand and suddenly the lid doesn’t work on it! Waste of money

They are so much better than plastic, they don't stain or retain smells, and are much easier to clean.Also, you can put these in the oven! Without the lids of course. A great feature is that you can actually stack them, that's a huge plus for me. I don't have a lot of space in my kitchen, and being able to stack makes storing them easy.

By using glass we are reducing exposure to microplastics that can come from plastic use. Especially from heating foods. These glass meal prep containers were great not only for prepping future lunches and dinners but also general food storage. Compared to other brands I loved that they are nesting as seen in the second photo. Other glass containers are super bulky but these fit nicely inside each other saving cabinet space. The size is great to include your entree and two side dishes, containing your complete meal in one container. To clean them we just put the glass containers in the dishwasher and opted to hand wash the lids even though they are technically top rack dishwasher safe. We loved these so much we plan on getting another set so my husband and I are set for an entire week of meals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so I am pretty obsessed with these. Easy assembly and I store them assembled because I love the way they look on the shelf. Easy to keep leftovers for the next day and easily transportable to work with no leaks!

Used 2 xs and the lids will not fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These containers are the perfect size for just about anything! I use them to store leftovers, meal prep, and for having fruit and veggies ready to go at the beginning of the week. I love that they stack, and the colorful lids are so fun. Unfortunately the lids are pretty riding and difficult to fully close, but with a little muscle you can make it happen.

These are cute, but after washing in the dishwasher once, the lids don't close properly. Not worth is for the price.
