I love these containers

I wish I could give these 5 stars. I love the product and that I can put these in the oven, microwave and fridge. Love how they stack and lids are interchangeable. I own about 8-10 containers but the lids have started cracking over the past year.

Omg. What a wonderful set. Seals wonderfully. Easy to clean. Stacks neatly. The only downside is that I can’t buy a set of the 2-cup size only… this is our favorite size and the one that everyone wants to use for lunch. Please sell the food 2-cups separately just like all the other sizes.

In 2023, I replaced all of my food storage with these containers. For food in the fridge or freezer, it was glass bottoms with Tritan tops. For the pantry, those sizes and shapes are only available in Tritan. For the first year, things were great. The lids sealed properly, the glass held up to freezer and oven, and both the lids and the glass bottoms survived trips through the microwave and dishwasher. Then, I got my first crack...the lid for one of my big containers, the big 8 cup one, developed a hairline starburst from the center outward, while storing a casserole in the freezer. Nothing strange was stored above it, and the food was cool before I put the lid on, so I'm not sure what the problem was. Not happy, but I let it go, since only one lid was broken. Now, I have a total of 3 lids broken. Two for the 8 cup big containers, and one for a 4 cup container. With Rubbermaid not selling replacement lids, I now have 3 glass bottoms without lids, and need to acquire replacement food storage containers for those three items. With only 3 damaged lids, I don't think this is a knowlesge or technique problem on my end. Granted, we are only talking about three damaged lids over about three years; however, what I expected from the glass set was that I would be able to use them for many years to come, not have to replace entire container + lid items due to the lids breaking. Lids break. It happens. Just allow us to buy replacement lids, without having to buy an entire extra container!

I invested in several sets of these for meal prep last year. The glass containers are still in perfect condition but the lids have started to crack and one has the gray latch broken off. It is extremely disappointing that you cannot buy replacement lids. I chose glass to be more sustainable and last longer, but now what do I do with a container with no lid? Will not recommend this product unless lids can be replaced in the future.

We bought a few sets of these to replace the plastic ones we had been using for years. We loved these, at first. Several of the lids have cracked, definitely to to kids and MIL’s not know how to open them. I figured I would just buy replacement lids. NOPE. They don’t sell them, I can’t even find 3rd party versions. What a huge disappointment and a huge miss on the part of Rubbermaid. Once my kids are all cracked, I will buy a different brand. Shane on you Rubbermaid.

I received 18 piece set. The first time I used any of the pieces was when I used the largest dish with the lid on and put it in oven. The lid immediately melted so I threw kid away and kept glass portion.in fine print I then read don’t put lids in oven, only microwave. I am trying to get just a replacement for this lid. Possible? In future one needs better lids and:or bigger better directions.

I am very happy with my Rubbermaid 6pc Brilliance Glass Round Food Storage Container Set. These containers are sturdy and good quality. The lids are leak proof and create an air tight seal. The size assortment is great for a variety of uses. I recommend this!

Great glass container, but terrible lids! The lids broke pretty quickly and I tried to find spare lids for the great glass bottoms. But NO! You have to buy another complete set to get new lids! Wasteful! I wish I knew this before I bought them.

These are great until the lids start cracking and there are no replacements. We got rid of all our mismatched plastic containers and invested in these. Now the lids are all cracking and we can't get replacement lids. What a waste of money.

The sizes they come in are useful for lunch and peregrines too. I highly recommend and will purchase more!

After 1 year, the glass bases are working great, the lids however... Two cracks and they dont offer ways to DIY repair to replace them.

We are replacing all of our plastic food storage containers with glass containers. We’ve had these about a month and they are holding up well, but I do wish the lids were stackable. I am also very frustrated that Rubbermaid does not sell these as individual pieces. I need more of the 1.3 cup containers and refuse to buy another mixed set just to get 2 of the 1.3 cup containers. Why is it that the plastic Brilliance line has 1.3 cup containers sold separately, but not the glass? This is a massive missed sales opportunity for Rubbermaid.

Lids lock very securely onto the glass containers. Nice variety of sizes for the containers. Excellent product from a longstanding trusted brand name.

Pro: Glass is sturdy. Absolutely love the rectangular shape for storage and stacking. Con: Lids crack; Rubbermaid doesn't have replacement lids for sale. Rubbermaid also doesn't offer other options to buy pieces separately. I absolutely would love to be able to just buy the 2 cup containers but there's no option for that at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good, solid storage containers. 100% leak proof and the latches are very secure. Glass is the only material we use to store leftovers. Cleans up nicely. So far the lids have not stained. The ONLY reason for 1 star deduction is they do not nest as efficiently as my snap ware.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Major upgrade from plastic I had been using for years. These sealed great and have held up well with washing and handling. There’s no staining from foods that usually stain my previous set of plastic storage containers, and the sizes are great for stacking and not taking up too much space in my small fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are pretty good quality but sometimes I have trouble getting them to close all the way . Other than that they are durable and I really like that they are glass and leak proof.
