Nice but fragrance is strong
I really like this lip balm overall. It gives a nice sweep of natural color and is buildable if you want more coverage or vividness. However, I really dislike the smell. The fragrance is strong and, imo, rather unpleasant. It fades a bit in time, but I just wish these were fragrance free.

NYX slushy soft matte tinted lip balm feels buttery soft not drying at all. Snuggle szn is a beautiful shade that enhances my natural lip shade. I highly recommend these lip balms .

Simple and affordable, yes! Worth every penny! Feels like you don’t have anything on but yet it’s doing the job. Super soft. Keeps your lip hydrating without have that heavy lipgloss feelings.

Wanted to love it but was disappointed instead.
I really, really wanted to love this balm, but just...no. Bought the Squeeze N' Sizzle color at CVS, but will be returning it. I'm giving it a few points for the fact that it did leave my lips soft and I did like the color it was attempting to be. Cons were the application was most definitely patchy and from the jump and looked liked I'd already tried to wipe it off or took a bite of food or something! It also feels very thick and does not "breathe" at all, which I hate. I usually love colored balms but this one overall is a big miss.

Super soft and velvety
Smell so good and feels super soft at the moment of application. The color is kinda uneven but if you use lipgloss or lipliner looks better. The effect is really matte but not drying. Comfortable to wear for every day at any time.

The color is so stunning, and has such a beautiful pink shade that blends perfectly with my natural lips. It makes my lips look soft and smooth while also feeling very comfortable to wear throughout the day. One of the things I appreciate most is how kind the formula is to textured lips . I usually struggle with products sinking into cracks or making my lips look uneven, but this one avoids that completely, which is such a relief . I also love how versatile it is!! The matte look on its own is so pretty, but I sometimes like to add a little lip gloss on top, and it creates a whole new look that is just as pretty. If you prefer glossy lips, I would definitely recommend trying it that way too it’s such a fun combo. Overall, I think this is a great product that I will definitely keep reaching for. It has quickly become a staple in my bag . I can already tell I’ll be using it often for both everyday wear and special occasions

Beautiful, blurred and moisturized
Swipe sesh is the perfect “my lips but better” shade. I love the scent of berries and cream. The balm is so plush feeling and the soft blurred color is exactly what I want and it delivers every time. I own two shades and I might have to get more.

Perfect with the right color match!
Feels smooth and by design the color is flawless. Application is a bit messy and the texture is soft and spreads somewhat easily. I had to apply a few times to get a nice full color.

Color is weird
I have the two darker reds because I thought it would be lighter based on the photos, nah. It's dark and beautiful. I am very happy with the color...But if you looking for a stain that is giving I just made out look. Which I feel that is the selling strategy with this stain---might take you a couple of try-ons. I don't mind buying a few before I get the color I want, you might. As for feel and wear--feels like nothing. And no touch ups needed, though pretzel bites at the movies.

Overhyped.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I heavily dislike this product. I literally had to mix in other lipsticks to make it look decent. It's patchy and heavy on the lips. No hydration whatsoever. The color and packaging are really cute but the product is poorly executed.

Love this balm!
I absolutely love this Nyx balm! It applies so smoothly and spreads perfectly on the lips without feeling heavy. This product is absolute rubbish. I purchased this with my own money. I was hoping for a soft blur type of smooth matte balm. This goes on with one of the strangest fields I’ve ever had from a lip product. It’s not quite waxy. It’s almost silicone not really liquid. It doesn’t smooth out it doesn’t even really adhere to the lips or give color pay off. I found it to be impossible to work with and after five tries of multiple different application styles I gave up and threw it in the trash, it honestly is in my top five for worst products I’ve ever used.

I bought both Snuggle Season and this Soft Matte Lip Balm. I LOVE THEM both so much!!!!! They leave my lips so soft without feeling dry like a lot of matte products do. And they LAST!
