Great vacuum!
We've had this vacuum for a year and a half now and have had no issues. We vacuum up pet hair etc. Love that you can use this on hardwood floor as well. And the hose! Omg Amaaaaazing suction! It's great for getting bugs in corners like pesky small spiders. I love this vacuum!

Not happy
This is my 4th Shark vacuum purchase over the years. I really am satisfied with shark But with my last purchase of the shark lift away detect I have an issue with the cord. It is very very stiff and keeps it wound up position even when unwound so I am constantly tripping over it and fighting with it. None of my other sharks were like this. I wish I could take this one back.

Design flaw
I returned this item because you can't use the wand/pod to vacuum under furniture like my previous Shark liftaway vacuum.

Do not purchase this vacuum, you run over something that blocks the roller, it is impossible to remove the and fix. I have the special tools for the shark! So frustrating!!!!!!!!

Broke in 2 months
After having two Dysons that had motors burn out after years of daily use, I finally decided to give Shark a try! It’s true what others say, the suction is awesome in this! But it does make vacuuming on some rugs really difficult because of it. It does not reach a lot of places like a Dyson can, the same “lift away” part runs into my coffee table, console tables, dining room chairs and TV consoles. Dysons are way more flexible and you don’t have to more anything around to vacuum, it’s not a huge deal but it’s just a new way of vacuuming! It’s more clunky for sure and the hose does not go far and it’s often causing the vacuum to just tip over all the time. Lastly, after only having it a little under two months, a horrible burnt smell started to come from it. We thought it was just the filter so we bought brand new filters and it was still happening. For the price, I’m just going to return this one and get my motor fixed on my Dyson! I really was hoping it would last longer!

Horrible don't buy it
I bought this, and it broke in a month. It just stopped turning on, and this has happened with a lot of there vaccums. I do not buy shark vacumms. I bought dyson and it works great. I have had it for six years now, and nothing has happened.

I received this due to mine being recalled. The product over all is great, there's 2 issues I have, first one being that as soon a I used the attachment with the brush that's detachable it broke. It no longer hold a position it will just spin around and around and get you very frustrated so that tool has been useless since day one and that's one of the main tools I need. Next is the cord, the cord is stiff and will not what so ever loosen up and that's very annoying. But the over all power that it has is great

New Vacuum
While using the tools the vacuum falls over. That never happened with my old one. Also, the vacuum hose does not reach for me to vacuum my stairs.

Not worth it
The cord is very short and all ways in the way because it is stiff as well when floor to carpet sensor likes to switch to carpet when on tile or woodfloors the dust bin is supper small allin all not worth the money

Great suction
This is the 4th Shark I've purchased. I used to be a Hoover fan, but once I started using Shark, I won't use anything else. You can't beat the suction power. I really like this one, but wish the hose and power cord were longer.

Disappointing - Not a true lift away
I got this vacuum to replace the Shark vacuum I'd had for years after its motor went out. I loved the old vacuum and thought it was very versatile and it picked up all the dog hair and dirt from my floors. I thought this model would be even better because it has the power detect feature and the suction going forward and backwards. It does a good job of cleaning my floors, but I'm very disappointed that it's marketed as a "lift-away" vacuum but the lift-away feature is useless. On my old vacuum, the "pod" would come off of the pole and the head of the vacuum was still attached so I could vacuum under the bed, tables, etc. On this new model the "lift-away" just means the head of the vacuum detaches so you can't vacuum under anything. What's the point of that? I feel like Shark is misleading people with the false advertising in a blatant money grab. I've been using Shark products for many years and have always been pleased on their cleaning performance, but after this intentional misdirection to get people to spend more money, I think I'm going to have to start researching other companies and products.

Lift Away = NO Vacuuming
What's the point of having a Lift Away feature if you CAN'T vacuum UNDER anything? Once the "pod" is separated, the vacuum head with the rollers is inoperable. My previous Shark vacuum at the same price point had this feature. Now it's only offered for the top of the line models. Ridiculous!

Breaks once warranty is up
Good vacuum while it lasts. But once your 2 year warranty is up it breaks and you are out of luck. Guess you need to buy an almost $400 vacuum every 2 years which is quite crazy.

Powerful vacuum
This was a replacement to my previous shark vacuum. I’m very pleased with the power this vacuum offers. One negative I see with this vacuum is the power cord is too short. I have a small 804 sq ft home and I have to move and plug into two different rooms to be able to vacuum my entire house.
