This can do it all!
LOVE IT1 finally had to retire my 20 year old Dyson and my daughter recommended this Shark. I know its powerful because it's picking up dog hair in rugs and I haven't had a dog in over a year, the Dyson was NOT cleaning properly! We've used it to clean air vents, the extension to get up in the corners, carpeted stairs, tile, low pile washable rugs, it can do it all. Highly Recommend

Great overall vacuum
Purchased our 2nd Lift Away a month ago and chose this particular model because I like the LED lights like our other one. I like the suction power, the switch configuration and the ease of emptying. However, the power cord is unlike the one on our older model. It seems to be shorter and made with a cheap plastic rather than a more supple rubber. It's minor, but it is inconvenient to manage while using and coil when done.

gets close to the floor - sucks well -doesn't hair wrap - I have 2 large shedding dogs, Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever , plus a Maine Coon cat, plus 2 other cats -LOTS of FUR - it does a great job! Need info on how to order additional odor reducers;

⭐️ 1 star (and that feels generous) This is the worst vacuum I have ever owned, and I’ve had ones from a dorm room. It doesn’t pick things up—it just aggressively relocates them. On hardwood and tile, it pushes debris around like it’s late for something, then occasionally spits it back out behind itself just to keep things interesting. The clogging? Constant. I have taken this vacuum apart so many times I could probably get certified in Shark engineering at this point. Every time it stops suctioning or starts making a high-pitched screaming noise like it’s summoning something, I know it’s time to perform surgery again. And the noise?? Not normal vacuum noise. This thing sounds like it’s in active distress. It doesn’t clean—it screams. For something designed to make cleaning easier, it somehow creates more work, more frustration, and more mess. I spend more time fixing it than actually using it. If you’re looking for a vacuum, keep looking. If you’re looking for a loud, clog-prone, debris-launching machine that tests your patience, congratulations—you found it.

Very Nice
I have had this vacuum for about three weeks and so far I like it. I was amazed - and horrified- at the amount of dirt and dust it picked up from my area rugs. I like that it is relatively small and easy to store; that there are no ‘bags’ to purchase and toss; that it was easy to assemble; that it is lightweight and easy to maneuver. Although I get why, I don’t like the positioning for the attachments’ storage; the dusting brush keeps falling off, and there is no place for the anti-allergen dust brush. I highly recommend this product and would but it again.

Amazing!
Very easy to handle. Love how it has detect option for carpet or hardwood. Love how it is detachable and can carry around to vacuum the couches ,stairs etc. Not heavy either. Glides nicely on the floor. I have a dog and three cats the suction power is fantastic with not leaving a hair behind.

Strong odor
The cord is extra stiff. I did not realize there was an odor neutralizer cartridge-I would not have purchased. I do not use those kind of products in my home. Strong fragrance odor.

It hurts to say this because I absolutely love this vacuum it works great and has so many great features, I would not want any other vacuum but mine stopped working , We got this not long ago an abt two months or so in the bottom piece stopped working… it will not detect or sensor carpet an the light doesn’t work either it shuts off anytime I push the bottom piece down to vacuum, I’ve cleaned it an tried everything to fix it nothing has worked an I haven’t heard back from anyone for help :(

It's a WINNER!
I bought this a month ago and everyone in the household that uses it is extremely impressed with its exceptional suction. The auto detect function is nice not having to adjust each time you go across different flooring. The lift-away feature is easy to use and needed for the non-standard vacuuming including the accessories that came with it. FINALLY a vacuum that I don't need to clean the hair caught in the roller; it's self cleaning. This is the first having a deodorizer which is nice, although I don't know how long it lasts and the cost of replacements. My only CON for this vacuum is the electrical cord length needs to be longer. 30 ft would have been preferred to minimize the number of times I have to move to another electrical outlet. Out of 4 Sharks that I've owned, it's the best one yet!

Great vacuum!
We've had this vacuum for a year and a half now and have had no issues. We vacuum up pet hair etc. Love that you can use this on hardwood floor as well. And the hose! Omg Amaaaaazing suction! It's great for getting bugs in corners like pesky small spiders. I love this vacuum!

Not happy
This is my 4th Shark vacuum purchase over the years. I really am satisfied with shark But with my last purchase of the shark lift away detect I have an issue with the cord. It is very very stiff and keeps it wound up position even when unwound so I am constantly tripping over it and fighting with it. None of my other sharks were like this. I wish I could take this one back.

Design flaw
I returned this item because you can't use the wand/pod to vacuum under furniture like my previous Shark liftaway vacuum.
