Cheating on Benetint, and I like it
Listen, friends. Elf outdid themselves with this tint. As someone who was a longtime user of Benetint, let me tell you something.. logically we would expect a much less expensive “dupe” to not meet expectations, but we are wrong people! So I made the mistake of applying dots of this tint on my cheeks and then took all of 3 seconds to grab my brush to blend it out and guess what- it already stained. I had the dots on my cheek that would not budge. You have to blend this out immediately. Normally I would take this as a negative but I’m sick of tints that say they’re long lasting and then fade before the hour ends (ahem, benetint). The Elf brand has the same liquid consistency, similar colors, but stronger staying power. I’d rather immediately have to blend something out and have it last much longer than have something fade quickly. It is a small price to pay. I ordered the Left On Red color from Elf, I find it to be very similar to the original Benetint so I was happy with the color. But now I won’t be spending as much, thank you ELF!

Elf continues to replicate products that are super expensive and come out with a really great alternative affordable products!!! This item is very much like the Benetint from Benefit Cosmetics. Theirs run $28-36$ while this item was only $6!! I put it on before I went shopping and the tint stayed on for six hours even through me eating and drinking. It dries down super quick and leaves a very even and smooth stain on the lips.

Such a great dupe for high end tints!
I've been using this for almost 8 months now and absolutely adore it. It reminds me a lot of higher end tints, like Benetint. I only use it on my lips, so I can't comment on the cheek effect, but it looks great on lips and gives so much life to my face.

I have used Benetint by Benefit forever, and thought this would be a fun dupe. This is literally so much better. It lasts until I wash my face, and looks nice as a lip tint and eyeshadow as well! It blurs easily with a brush or your fingers. You do have to work fast, because it stains if you let it sit. I’m buying it in every color!

It’s alright
I bought this after letting the hype die down and I was somewhat disappointed in this product. I found that that stain doesn’t last long on the lips and when you use it on the cheeks it will cling to dry patches and it will stain quickly if you don’t blend it fast enough. The color I bought was cute and that packaging was cute but I truly don’t see myself rebuying this product.

Amazing! Highly pigmented & lasts all day!
I've used the traditional Benetint daily on my lips for years. It's expensive and can be tricky to layer at times, but creates a good base under lip gloss. So glad I decided to try this E.L.F. comparative in Left on Red! Just the tiniest bit leaves a deep, even natural-looking tint on my lips. I have to be careful not to use too much because it makes it almost TOO dark red on my pale skin. With its price point at literally less than a quarter of Benetint, I likely will never switch back!
