I'm divided about what I want to say here. On one hand, the texture of this is something to behold, just unbelievably tender and fluffy. On the other hand, this made it extremely painful to spread frosting on without ripping it up (and I paired it with a softer whipped frosting). Piping the frosting on instead would've fixed the issue, and I'll keep that in mind next time around

We're so sorry for any confusion caused by the packaging. This cake mix itself doesn’t come with icing, the picture on the front of the box is labeled as a serving suggestion. We recommend using our Creamy White Rich & Creamy Frosting for similar results.

If I could give it a negative rating I would. I don't know what they changed in the mix, but my cake came out flat and like a raw texture and not moist and spongy. I normally substitute water with juice to give it more flavor, and add crushed pineapple and coconut, I used the same ingredients as I normally do, did not change anything on the added ingredients and the cake came out disgusting. I'm so disappointed with this company, not only did they make the package smaller and changed their ingredients but also raised their prices!!

The texture is moist and fluffy and it makes a great sheet cake, cupcakes or even a loaf cake. I don’t feel guilty eating it without icing, but there are times when the icing is required!
