Buy a different multivitamin
If I could give it zero stars I would. They changed the recipe and it’s gross. This new version upsets my stomach and I’ve taken tums just to settle it rather than vomit. Plus the smell is terrible. If I could return it, I would. Why target? What was wrong with the last one?

I've been buying these for years, but since the packaging has change colors, so has the formula. These are such a challenge to swallow, and I have no problems with other pills, capsules, etc. I'd give this bottle away if I weren't afraid of someone else choking on them!

Chemical smell
The vitamins are fine except for the insanely strong smell. I’m not sure what exactly it reminds me of but it’s somewhere between acetone and vinegar. It’s strong enough to make me think something is seriously wrong with them.

A hard pill to swallow
I don’t have issues w the smell like many others have reported but omg these are impossible to swallow. I take many pills, and several are larger than this vitamin, but this one starts to dissolve or something almost instantly and sticks to the back of my tongue and is impossible to get down. A different coating would help these a lot

Okay so, I have a hard time swallowing large pills. I’ve been searching for either a multivitamin small enough that I could swallow easily or a multivitamin that has no sugar, but is tolerable to chew (gross I know). But, if you are like me, this one may work for you! If you chew it (hear me out), it tastes like those flintstones chewable kids vitamins.

Nauseating smell
Like many of the other reviews mentioned the smell is awful upon opening the bottle. I took a chance on buying because a couple reviews said the smell was exaggerated in the reviews but it’s a nope for me. It’s pretty nauseating.

Covers all the basic vitamin needs! I personally love that it has 25 mcg (1000) Vitamin d, living in the Midwest, it’s needed. & a huge plus they’re affordable. Larger pill -sure but no issues taking them. They just have a vitamin smell like any other I’ve come across.. I like them & they work for me. Highly suggest if your not taking vits that you start! :)

Smells like acetone!
Like others have said the smell is so strong! Reminds me of nail polish remover. I have bought this brand before and didn’t have this issue. The pills also are darker in color and a different shape than my last bottle. Must be a formula change. But I will have to find a different brand.

Yes there is a smell when you open the bottle, and it may be alarming due to not being able to identify where that specific smell is coming from. However 's just a vitamin smell that dissipates if that matters to you, and does not linger once swallowed. The smell is also very insignificant. Anyways the formula is good, gluten free is appreciated and I break the pill in half to take at different times in the day and that's made easy by the perforated design. I could break it in half with my fingers if I wanted to. The formula, affordability and thoughtful design with the perforated halving is why I will buy this again.
