Wonderful
Love it! I have builder gel on my nails and had a break far down the nail. I filed the rough edge, washed with soap and water and dried before application. Three coats did the trick.

Great reinforcer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nails are not super thin but I would still say they’re thin. This means that whenever I let my nails grow, even a little, I will inevitable have a break somewhere. This Break Fix Liquid did help reinforce the nail after it broke. It was good for a quick fix and I applied nail polish later and it still made the nail look solid. I do like the reinforcement it gives my nails and now I wear it preventively. Gives my nails a nice shine so it almost works like a heavy duty clear polish.

Game changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nails tend to get the painful tears on the side and this has helped repair my nails to keep them from tearing off. It’s very easy to apply with its precision brush and dries pretty quickly. I do have my hands in water a lot and had to reapply every other day until my nail grows long enough to cut. Highly recommend if you are trying to grow your natural nails or if you are like me and your nails tear close to the skin.

Not so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a big fan of this product because I have more cons than pros. The cons are that it doesn’t do much to sustain a breakage. I use it on a tiny breakage and it only lasted 24 hours before my nail broke further which is the biggest claim and read to purchase. I do like the shine that it gives and the easy application. The drying time is very short which I love. Overall not worth buying.

Effective and easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have issues with small nail tears and weakness along the edges, and I’m please with Ho this has helped strengthen. It applies like a thin polish but dries quickly and binds the nail pieces together into a durable layer. You can build a couple layers to ensure a torn piece is really adhered to the rest of the nail. I think the clear formula is barely noticeable, but also like the effect when topped with the Blanc color I received.

Sealed my nail break
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary for my honest opinion, and it works. I get breaks in my nails as they start getting longer, and my hair gets caught in the break, and pulls it when washing my hair, or the nail rips off at the break. I applied the Essie Break Fix on the break, and it sealed it up, and I stopped getting my hair caught in it, and stopped the nail from ripping off. This is a good liquid nail patch, I will be using this on my nails for now on. It has a shiny finish, and can be worn alone, or under polish.

Good addition
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bottle is easy to open and has a smooth applicator which allows easy application with no mess on the skin. Goes on smooth and bonds as expected. Bond held great till I was ready to change my polish. Not a horrible smell but does have typical scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was peeling my gel polish so hard and accidentally damaged my nail, this liquid nail patch did absolutely amazing to hold it together like a bandage and making it look like the damage wasn’t there, I did like 3 applications because I wasn’t satisfied with how it looked like after two coating, it instantly secured the damaged part of my nails and it quickly dries to a solid and durable transparent patch, absolutely amazing!

Essie fix liquid nail patch is will fix a nail break or spot treat weak areas to prevent future breaks, weak nails or fake nails as well. The glue is instant. Secure edges together. Can hold nail up to 5 days. Can be used at the ghost sign of a break.

Not as helpful as I had hoped
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly struggled to find a nail break where this was actually helpful. If the brake was too big, it didn’t seem to hold very well. Overall, it does cure and dry fairly quickly. I attached photos to this review where I cracked my thumbnail and it did help after three coats. It no longer snagged on things so it was able to grow to a better length for cutting. Overall, I don’t really see the value in this. I would just cut my nails if they broke versus buying this because it’s hit or miss on whether it works on the break.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was really easy to use and worked well. I usually end up having to cut my nail because when they get longer they tear easily. This was quick with little effort. I applied 3 layers and reapplied after 4 days. It dries quickly in-between applications, so it didn't take much time. Love that this is a vegan formula too. It is a clear polish but does leave a shine when applied alone. Nails are still smooth after application. I loved this. I would highly reccomend this to anyone prone to tears or breakage. It worked really well for me. (Before and After Picture are 6 days apart).

This product honestly feels like my rescue. I didn’t expect much, but it really works, even on bugger breaks like the one in my photo. It makes the nail feel stronger and keeps the broken part from moving or catching on everything. A true lifesaver for fragile nails.

Not Impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't feel this product did what it said it could do. My nail had a small tear on the side and I applied the product thinking it would work because the tear was so minor. The fix went on nice and smooth. It is thicker than polish and that's fine because it is intended to bridge and smooth a break. I applied the product and let it dry but after drying I could still feel the break along the rim of my nail, it wasn't smooth. I put on a second coat thinking it just wasn't thick enough but that didn't help. It does have a very strong scent which may be a problem if you are sensitive to smell. As it wasn't smooth it kept snagging on things like my hair, I ended up removing the product which was easy as I just used polish remover and filing my nail down to remove the broken part. Maybe this product will work for other's but I wasn't impressed with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to review this! I normally have to cut my nails every time one breaks off because I cannot stand seeing 9 long and 1 short. My nail broke and I added the Essie break fix on my whole nail since it gives a beautiful shine and it worked! It was like glue for my nail! I love it! It dried up within 2 minutes. You can’t even feel that you are wearing it.

Liquid Nail Patch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to my nails so my new Essie products are a great addition to my assortment of personal care products. My nails are natural and grow very quickly so having reinforcement from polish is definitely ideal. The Liquid Nail Patch dries quickly and seems to be long lasting. It also removes easily with nail polish remover.

It allows my nail to stay together without having to fall completely apart. It is so easy to use and actually works.
