Native Japanese Golden Pear Limited Edition Strengthening Shampoo 16.5 fl oz: Dye-Free, Paraben-Free, Silicone-Free, Vegan

This shampoo smells great, but it leaves my hair looking and feeling greasy. It also feels like it doesn’t fully come off when I rinse it out. It’s also a really small amount of shampoo, it ran out pretty quickly. I give it one star for the scent and another for it being sulfate free, but I am now searching for another alternative.

Makes my hair softer and manageable

I should’ve listened to the reviews that warned that THIS MAKES YOUR HAIR FALL OUT! I have ridiculously thick and strong hair and I would have like 12 hairs come out while using this stuff. Then, today, I noticed my shirt had a lot of hair on it, too. I switched back to my OGX shampoo and immediately noticed I was okay again. Trust reviews. This stuff is like liquid radiation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to LOVE this product because I am a Native loverrrrr. While I think the product is just fine the scent was not it for me. I do feel like it cleaned pretty well. Now my big gripe is how hard it was to get the pump mechanism to work, I absolutely couldn’t get it to move which was so frustrating in the middle of my shower. It needs to be redesigned.

It lathers up pretty good for a more natural shampoo. My hair is super fine and it brushes out smooth after using this collection.

I also was very satisfied of the consistency of the shampoo it's the perfect thickness for me to not use a bunch to wash my hair I don't like the super liquidy shampoos they feel like a waste for my thick long hair. The conditioner makes my hair really soft and feel hydrated as well. Now the packaging is terrible because of the type of pump they decided to use for this product 🙄 it took me so many tries and having someone else try and figure out how to open it they also struggled for 10 min trying to get it open and eventually we were able to. Because the packaging was so difficult to figure out I often didn't want to use the products because that is too much work to have to twist off the cap and take product off the tub of the pump nozzle since we couldn't figure out how to open it for the longest time until 2 days ago. I have no idea why they have 3 different types of pump nozzles they use for their products I will say this is the worst one as it's not easy to open compared to the pump used for the vanilla cashmere body wash by native that pump is perfect and they should stick with that for all their products if they are gonna continue using a pump. Tho I'd prefer no pump at all that's my personal opinion as I don't find it that convenient and also feel like I loose more product with pumps.

Of course, I like the clean Native ingredients. The product lathers well. However, I think for my hair texture, this shampoo is not as moisturizing as I would like.

It makes the whole bathroom smell like this golden pear scent. I’ve always used native shampoos and conditioners however, I think this is my favorite scent so far I love the pump bottle and that it only takes two pumps to cover my hair. Usually, I have to use a lot more with other brands. It doesn’t leave any residue fill on my hair and it doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy. It actually leaves my hair feeling very lightweight and bouncy after I use this.

I appreciate the transparency of what each ingredient does in this shampoo. I do wish that it elaborated more on the ingredients of the fragrance. I am pleased with the scent of this shampoo, it was a light and fruity scent. It didn’t create as much of a lather as most other shampoos that I’ve used in the past. But it was still easy to apply and rinse out of my hair. My hair looked shiny and healthy after using this shampoo, but it didn’t seem like it cleaned my hair and scalp as effectively as I would have liked. But the fact that it didn’t have sulfates was a big plus for me!
