Fun set - great for any Star Was fan

Quick build, for the cost I wish it was a little bigger. However, it's great to add to the collection and it is a well thought out build.

The yellow piece that goes through the middle that the head spins doesnt spin but looking at the photos the part is diff at the end and the closing of the front is impossible. Just breaks constantly

    Fun for all the family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has just got into Star Wars so you can imagine his excitement when BB-8 arrived. Did he need adult supervision? Yes- it’s definitely one that all the family can get stuck into. As always, everything is well packaged making it easy to find the pieces you need. The instructions were clear to follow and it took the best part of 2 hours to complete the build which in terms of entertainment value was really good! It doesn’t have much move ability, definitely more for display purposes but the fun was all in the build and the pride when complete! Would I purchase more from the Star Wars range? Absolutely!

It didn't take a long time to build it and the quality is amazing as always. Legos its one of these thing that lasts a life time and can be played with over and over again. Super happy with this one and so was my son, he loves lego and recently became a fan of star wars

    Cute Lego set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this Lego set. BB-8 is such a lovable character, and I’m glad they even added a mini one to put on the info board. My fiancé and I had a good time building it together. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. It has a little wheel at the bottom so that it moves back and forth, and it even moves its head when you move it, but it’s not very smooth. Apart from that, this doesn’t require any batteries which is nice. 10/10 would recommend.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — A Must-Have for Star Wars Fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely adored this build, the LEGO Star Wars BB-8 Astromech Droid is a 5-star addition for any Star Wars fan! This set is a 500+ piece set which strikes the perfect balance of a satisfyingly complex build and being really approachable which overall makes for a fun, relaxing build session that doesn’t feel overwhelming or too intense. The build itself had elements of challenge, in all the right ways. It kept me engaged throughout and thinking without ever feeling frustrating, which made it the perfect evening activity to unwind with after a day at work. One of the coolest bits is the ingenious wheel mechanism you build which when you roll him around, BB-8’s head actually turns which felt like such a cool homage to the real droid’s movement and added a lovely interactive element to the finished model. Once it is complete, BB-8 looks fantastic on display. It perfectly capture his iconic shape and personality beautifully and it’s exactly the kind of build that any Star Wars fan will smile at — whether you are showing it off on a shelf or admiring the mechanism from time to time. Overall it is the perfect balance of creativity, fun and fandom; all in one perfect Droid! I would 1000% recommend this to anyone who loves LEGO, Star Wars or both! It’s amazing.

    Ok Star Wars set

Went out and bought this one finally. Had higher hopes for it, but the overall was a bit generic feeling. Same price point as R2 set but liked final R2 set alot more than this one. Trying to put head on BB8 was harder than necessary and the bottom part kept coming apart. Overall not one of my favorite Star Wars set.

Fun to make with intricate and moving parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so fun to make! I like that the BB-8 is not too big, was very intricate, and has lots of moving parts. The mini figure and the plaque is a great addition to this set.

A must have set for any Star Wars fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a fun set to build. Instructions were super easy to follow and build, so great for children and adults. It took me a couple of hours to put together. The end result is adorable, especially the miniature BB-8. You can move BB-8 around and it turns its head with movement. A great set for any Star Wars fan to add to the collection!

    Looks great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and i love spending time building lego together, but oh boy this set was a challenge. Comes in 569 pieces of 4 separate bags and as usual very detailed instructional book to follow. It does take a bit of time to build and we found it challenging as a multiple times some parts collapsed as it wasn’t sturdy enough. Once built it is great piece - swirl head, wheel to move on flat surface are great bonus. My 4 years old rolled all over our house for his role playing game. For my opinion the recommended age 10+ it’s absolutely right as my eldest 8+ definitely had a moments of struggle or lose interest building it up. Lego sets are greatest for kids and even adults imagination and creativity and motor development.
