It definitely exfoliates the face and cleanses it. It might be too harsh for my skin as I don’t really have acne prone skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve just permanently added this product to my routine! There is an herbal scent but it’s light and pleasant. You can’t even feel the foam on your face! Very light, not sticky and I’ve seen a reduction in breakouts as well!

I normally have very sensitive skin and a very damaged skin barrier, but definitely have some acne. The first time I tried this, my skin felt SMOOTH the next day, which made me nervous that my barrier would be wrecked. Nope. Perfectly fine which was a pleasant surprise. Out of an abundance of caution I still only use it every couple of days. I cleanse my face, then apply this, then moisturize. Thanks to it being alcohol free my skin doesn’t have that overly tight feeling when I put it on, but it definitely needs a moisturizer after. Has it made a huge difference in my acne? Not really. It’s noticeable but not huge. But it definitely helped my texture. Smell wise, it definitely has that classic soapy witch hazel smell which can surprise you the first time. However that goes away once you moisturize. Overall, I will continue to use this product to exfoliate my skin!!

Overall, it’s still a nice product and works well for my skin despite the scent.
