Lightweight and cooks well

I bought this for travelling as it is very lightweight and smaller than most crockpots - but it is aluminum under the ceramic coating so be careful not to scratch it or you will be eating aluminum that is quite toxic. I would like to see something from Greenpan (this is Greenlife - another line of their products) and I don't fully understand why they have two lines - one seems to be cheaper than the other which is a bit hard to understand why they would do that - but overall I like its looks, weight, and it works fine.

Great slow cooker

I bought the 6qt slow cooker a month ago for my family of 5. Beside delay in shipping everything has worked well. Easy to maneuver, seems to hold heat well enough and works without issues. It is of perfect size for my household. So far tried overnight oatmeal, chicken curry and a lentil dish that all came out great!

Best slow cooker ever!

I have the 6.5 quart one and love it so much that I decided I needed the 3.5. I also bought it for my daughter who is about to graduate from college. The crock is lightweight and I love that I can use it on the stovetop too.

Versatile and lightweight

Inner pot is large and lightweight, making it easier to lift when full. Great that you can move it from slow cooker to the hob, to thicken up sauces, all in the same pot

Gorgeous

I wish I bough one sooner. I have gone without a crock pot for years and missed the oval shape versus deep round instant pots. Im glad thid is free of lead and pfas.

Exactly what I hoped for

I’ve wanted a slow cooker with the capability to brown meat and sauté vegetables, etc, directly in the pot, for years. Initially, they were extremely expensive and rated poorly and they had a toxic nonstick surface which was a deal breaker. I’ve been reviewing and comparing the GreenPan / GreenLife options for a while and finally decided that this 6qt option was the best option for me since I was happy with my current slow cooker… I just didn’t want to have to dirty another pan while prepping. I am so happy with my purchase!! It is lighter and easier to handle as the other reviews have stated, but even though it’s light, it’s well made. The unit itself is better quality than the one I replaced. The lid fits well…meat browns beautifully in the pot and meals cook gently and evenly. I highly recommend!

Great Slow Cooker!

I really did some investigating on non-toxic appliance before purchasing this slow cooker. The added plus was also how much I loved the color and style. It’s a great size, deep, and cleans up like a breeze. Very user friendly as well. I’ll be purchasing more products from this great brand!

Best crockpot I ever used

I have used many crockpots in my 40 years of marriage. The inside pot has always been heavy and hard to rinse out to clean. This new crockpot insert is so light and easy to pick up. Cook the foods beautifully and I haven't even used the option of using the insert on the stovetop to pre-brown or in the oven after cooking to toast the toppings.

Love love love!!

I owed a crockpot slow cooker for years. This green pan is sooooo much better in every way. It’s atheisticly pleasing, super lightweight, very easy to use, and cooks fast! I love this and highly recommend!!

Love this slow cooker

Used this slow cooker for the first time for Thanksgiving. Made glazed brown butter carrots. So easy to put the veggies in the pot, set the timer and forget it. They css add me out perfect and clean up is a breeze with the removable pot!

Bye Bye 25 Year Old Dinosaur!

Love this slow cooker! Easy to use, has H-M-L settings. Slow cooker can be used on stovetop or in oven as needed, with nice handles for ease of use. And it's very lightweight, unlike my 25 year old crock pot!
