Works as expected
Saute pan works just as I'd expect. My pan has a bit of yellow tint inside but I don't think that matters. Note it can be tricky to get a rigid spatula under food with this design. I keep some silicone utensils. This was about the only quality Stainless Steel pan with a glass lid I could find.

Stainless Steel is the best
This isn't my first Calphalon. It replaces another I had for 20 years that had a kind of anodized coating? on it that started to come off. Stainless steel is the best. It cooks well, you can always get it back to perfectly clean. This pan has a solid bottom that conducts heat very well. It's a good size, too.

Gorgeous pan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a gorgeous pan and I wanted to love it, but I’m afraid that it’s looks are the best thing about it. I generally love Calphalon product and do own many, so I think the issue is the stainless steel. I have all non-stick pans from a high-end brand so I guess I’ve just gotten used to that, but what I cook in this pan sticks. It isn’t terrible to clean after a little soak though, but the cooking process is not great because of it. Overall, the pan is lovely. Study, but not too heavy. And the lid has a nice, thought fit. It heats quickly and evenly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Calphalon 3QT stainless steel sauté pan and I’m really impressed with how solid and reliable it feels. The material heats evenly, and I love that I have good control over the temperature—nothing scorches unless I truly forget about it. It’s definitely not a noisy pan, and the lid fits well without rattling. From a safety standpoint, the handle stays cool enough to grab without worrying, and the pan has a good weight to it without being too heavy to lift when full. Cleaning has been surprisingly easy for stainless steel. With a little warm water and soap, it comes right back to looking new, and it doesn’t stain or warp. Overall, it’s become one of my go-to pans for everyday cooking—great quality and worth having in the kitchen.

Love this non-toxic cookwear option!

High quality steel pan

I also like how comfortable the handle is to hold. I noticed that it heated up very quickly and evenly and made it easy to cook soups and stews. I also tried cooking with it in the oven and it worked pretty nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially hesitant to switch back to stainless steel, but this Calphalon sauté pan has completely won me over. The difference is immediately noticeable, and it all comes down to their Turbo Temp Technology. Seriously, this pan heats up with impressive speed and, more importantly, distributes that heat with unbelievable consistency. No more frustrating hot spots! I can finally get a perfect, even sear on chicken or vegetables right across the cooking surface. Highly recommend! Will definitely be buying more Calphalon pans to upgrade my cooking game!
