There is a significant amount of protein and fiber per serving but for me personally this lead to a not so great taste and too many calories for my personal preference. I used this as part of my weekly meal prep. As for the original flavor, it was pretty close to the traditional flavoring that is not the high protein option. The noodles themself is what changes the flavor in my opinion.

Some of the options might have added protein but they lack flavor. All of my kids absolutely loved this. We usually buy the goodles brand so this is a great alternative at a slightly lower price. I LOVE IT and my kids enjoyed it as well, they never noticed a difference. I added just a bit more shredded cheddar cheese to make it cheesier but this was such a delightful meal/side! Will definitely buy in the future to increase protein intake without sacrificing flavor!

The best is my kids didn’t even know. That’s a mom win. The packaging is nice I like that is states that’s it’s the power Mac not the traditional blue box Mac. The noodles are a little thicker than normal but that's what keeps you full. The sauce is creamy and cheesy. I paired with bbq chicken and veggies. This is something that I will be packing in my lunch boxes because it's so good and has good source of protein to keep me fueled for my shift!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mac and cheese was good. I honestly thought the white cheddar version tasted more like original Kraft Mac and cheese. I followed the directions but found the sauce too thin. I also tasted it when the butter was 1/4 mixed in, and I don’t think a full 4 tablespoons is necessary. I will say you couldn’t tell it was protein, but also you couldn’t tell it wasn’t mac and cheese. Macros were good, but would’ve been better with less butter.
