The sound will be really bassy for no reason. Resetting the speaker fixed it but this problem tweaked out the subwoofer and it vibrates/ rattles now. Sound quality is fine, not amazing. Is it not possible to lower intensity of sound going to speakers that will damage them? Durable but will roll away when dropped.

Excellent speaker with high quality sound and long lasting battery power. This replaced an older model I had for 8-10 years that eventually stopped taking a charge, but was so great. Two things I don't like: The power/buttons setup - They seem to be slightly tough to engage (and with a slight delay, it's also tough to ensure it was pressed correctly or else you've turned it right back off if you try twice). As well, I am not sure what the larger center top button does but it announces that the feature is not available (or needs to be used thru an app). Second gripe: I was also disappointed that the unit did not include a power cord. Sure, we all have random cords around, but actually I did not have a new, good quality USB-C cord, which I would have like to have for my nice new megaboom. A plus: I like the addition of the small nylon loop if I ever want to hang it.

I expected a charge cable and base like in previous models I purchased. Come on guys, dont cheep out on a charger. Very annoying when the kids open it n Christmas with now charging cable.

Pros: Improved sound, great battery life. Very durable. Can be charging while in use. The app has been greatly improved. Cons: Battery is no longer able to be removed and replaced. A cord and charger is no longer provided like previously with the Megaboom 3. I had to buy a Anker 65W charger and cord for maximum charging capability to match the charging performance of the Megaboom 3 charger and cord. Note Megaboom 3 and 4 use different charger types.

Disappointed it does not come with its own charger, especially at that price

I've used it every single day since I've received it. It was super easy and quick to connect via Bluetooth to my phone. The sound is crisp, and the volume gets LOUD! It has 360 sound. Perfect for getting me pumped up for my workouts every day. I took it to a bonfire, and everyone loved how amazing it sounded. As well as how easy it is to take with you anywhere. The battery life is perfect! It lasts me a few days before I have to charge it up again with how much I use it. I love that this speaker is waterproof as well as it floats! That will come in handy with the pool days next summer. It is such a super sleek design. The control buttons are super easy to use as well. This speaker has a magic button that allows you to control the music right from your streaming service! It's awesome!! I definitely highly recommend it. You can also use the PartyUp mode on the app and connect them together with other Ultimate Ears speakers! Talk about the amount of sound and bass! Count me in!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sound you can control and equalize it through an app on your phone. Portability is great easy can throw it in a bag bring it on camping trips. It’s also waterproof so that is a plus when using it outdoors or around kids. The battery seems to stay for awhile we have used it for a couple hours and didn’t charge it. The only issue I’ve had is when syncing sometimes it becomes un-synced for whatever reason. Great product love that it is waterproof.

I am very impressed with my new mega boom. One of the highlights is the accompanying app that lets me turn it on and off without going to the speaker. The sound quality is exceptional for the price and size of the speaker. This is my third Bluetooth speaker, and by far the best- much better sound than my old Bose.
