Q: Does this product keep ice pretty well insulated? Or does ice have to be taken out often?
A: The ice melts after a while and remakes itself so as long as you leave the ice part on it will keep remaking ice when it gets low
submitted byie1234 - 4 months agoA: Hi there, our design features a specially enhanced insulation layer that significantly slows down the melting rate of the ice cubes compared to other ice makers. However, it’s important to note that if the ice cubes remain in the machine for an extended period, they will still gradually melt over time. To ensure the best preservation of your ice cubes, we recommend transferring them to your freezer for storage. This will help maintain their quality and keep them frozen for longer periods.

Q: Just opened this today and making my first batch of ice. The front door keeps popping open. Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks!
A: Hi, Thank you for your response. We suspect that the ice basket inside the ice maker may not be properly positioned, which is causing the door not to close correctly. Q: When operating the ice maker is it necessary to add water to the front water tank as well as the secondary water tank? Or is the secondary water tank in the back not intended for water to be added. The instructions are not clear.
A: Hi there, the main water tank is located at the front, while the auxiliary tank is on top. Typically, only the main tank is needed. If you need to clean the machine with a solution, we recommend pouring it directly into the auxiliary tank. Q: how long will the ice stay frozen in the maker? the machine I got melts the ice quickly
A: Hello friend, thank you for your question. Because the ice maker is not a refrigerator, it does not have a heat preservation function. And as for the time for keeping the ice, it relies on the temperature, it usually keeps ice for 30 minutes. But our ice machine has a relatively high efficiency in producing ice. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at support@simzlife.com

Q: Can the ice production rate be adjusted? Maybe I don't always need a full 44 lbs per day and would like to conserve energy by reducing the production rate on days when I use less ice.
