Q: Can you turn down the degree setting? Noticed that is started out blowing cool air (67) and the longer it stayed on the temp crept up to 70. I want it cooler.

A: A tower fan itself does not possess the capability to cool the air or lower the room temperature. The reading you observed on the display—rising from 67°F to 70°F—reflects the ambient temperature of your room, not the temperature of the air being blown by the fan. The fan is simply continuously measuring and displaying this room temperature.

Q: Does it blow out actual cool air? Not pushing around the same hot air, will it actually COOL DOWN my room? that's what i'm looking for.

A: It only cools down a small area. If you want to cool the entire room, you might want to consider a portable air conditioner or a window unit.
