    Much easier to take

    I bought this because the capsules are easier to take than the large ones I was taking. I appreciate that, even though I have to take 5 per day in order to get the 1000 mg of calcium I need. (The larger ones I took required me to take 3 per day) I take the citrate because I believe it absorbs easier. I do not know if the quality is better; I only know I need the calcium!

    Good product. I need something that has more calcium per capsule in it, as I am supposed to have 1200 units a day, without extra vitamin D. Can you suggest something?

    Calcium Citrate without D

    My wife takes extra calcium due to bone loss. We needed just plain calcium citrate to reduce the vitamin D that comes in most calcium products. Thanks for making the plain calcium product.

    Calcium Citrate for osteoarthritis

    My physician recommended Calcium Citrate twice a day to supplement the calcium I get from my diet for my osteoarthritis. Swanson's product is inexpensive and effective. No complaints. I take a Vitamin D along with it to help absorption.

    My favorite Calcium Supplement

    I have tried many different Calcium Supplements and this is the best. Pure Calcium Citrate at a moderate dosage where you can take as little or as much as you need. Very high quality and affordable.

    Swanson Premium Calcium Citrate

    It is difficult to find a straight calcium citrate supplement, as most have vitamin D or magnesium added to it. (I take these separately) I found this one by Swanson, but unfortunately, each capsule has only 200mg of calcium. Trying to follow a daily requirement of 1000-1200mg calcium requires that I take 5-6 capsules. That adds up to a lot since I also take other supplements. Swanson does not offer any other brand with larger doses, so will have to search elsewhere.

    Good Value/Quality

    I use this product as part of my daily vitamin regimen. The only drawback with these tablets is their size, which is a bit larger than I find comfortable to swallow easily. I like Swanson as they have the type of vitamins we prefer to use and are good at delivering them in a timely manner. I buy all of our vitamins from Swanson and will continue to do so as I like their attention to quality and their ongoing efforts to provide a product that is good for me and my family

    Not for Me

    I was looking for a calcium product that did not give me digestive trouble, but this one is not it. I'm sure it would be great for others, however.

    Calcium citrate

    I like these calcium citrate supplements because it is effective and is not coupled with magnesium. I like to take my magnesium at bedtime to help me sleep better but I take calcium with meals. Great products at Swansons.
