That said, I do notice a metallic tang when I eat my second gummy, but by the third, I’m usually over it. Drinking a glass of water or eating a citrus fruit right after not only completely masks the aftertaste but also helps with iron absorption, so it’s a win-win. My only real complaint is the sugar content—they’re much too sweet, and I wish they toned it down a bit. Each serving has 5g of sugar, which adds up if you’re already mindful of sugar elsewhere in your diet. Packaging is great all nutritional values are explained well. As someone with gluten sensitivity these are amazing. Gluten free, vegan and Non- GMO. Would definitely recommend.

However, I don't like swallowing pills. So gummies are perfect for me. The recommended daily intake of iron for women is around 18 mg, which is three gummies. That means one bottle is only a twenty day supply. Because I assume I'm also absorbing some iron through the food I eat, I like to only take one gummy a day, which also helps make a bottle last longer. These gummies, unlike other brands I've tried, aren't coated in sugar. But they still taste good. They remind me of Welch's fruit snacks, except slightly less gummy and juicy than those.

The texture is good and definitely is chewable without feeling gritty or grainy, like other supplements I have taken. The grape flavor is nice. The only thing is, it says it has no aftertaste but the aftertaste was sooooo bad for me. It tasted like I was eating blood. It makes it really hard to finish them. I gotta eat something right after to try to mask the taste. If it wasn’t for the aftertaste, these would be perfect!

My most recent check-up resulted in finding out that my iron's low - not anemic low, but just low, and I was told to boost my iron intake. I'm not hugely surprised as I don't eat red meat. I also don't eat fruit chew gummy treats gummi bears and chewy vitamins. I want my candy to taste like candy and my vitamins to taste like nothing because I am swallowing them with a drink. I've never been fond of gummy vitamins because it's too easy to confuse them with fruit snack/fruity chewy candy goodies and I see no reason to possibly have a kid over-eat a vitamin because they mistook it for candy. This iron gummy is grape and it's that nostalgic grape taste like a syrup cough medicine of my childhood. I appreciate that the gummy is round and not shaped like a bear or animal too. It has a pleasant texture/chew to it, but ultimately to have to remember to take it 3 times a day makes it a pass for me.

I am already taking several other vitamins so I appreciated that this comes in gummy forms which makes it a lot easier to take. It is not only an iron supplement, but it is also combined with other B vitamins. I actually enjoy eating the gummies as if it was a sweet treat, the serving size is three gummies per day. Iron supplementation usually tends to cause constipation, however, I haven’t had any real issues with these. I would certainly plan to purchase a bottle when this one runs out.
