Only giving four stars because of the taste. It does work well, but you have to get over the fact that it taste like you’re chewing on throw up and trying to swallow it. The taste is absolutely horrendous. I’m definitely going back to my low iron pills that I used to take before this.

Do they smell kind of gross? Yes, but I don’t smell inside the bottle, I just chew them quickly and wash them down with water. A little chalky, but could be so much worse. I have a bad stomach and tolerate them fine. Far better than a typical iron pill. A little pricey, but worth it considering they don’t make me feel sick.

For a chewable tablet these taste horrible. Not sure exactly how to describe the taste but it’s giving sweaty feet. Currently 11 weeks pregnant and I can’t stomach these at all. Like I genuinely don’t want to chew these since it makes me queasy. Should’ve just stuck with taking normal iron tablets and splitting them in half. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

Taste is tolerable for an iron supplement
I have tried 4 iron supplements (liquid & pill) and they have caused acid reflux and stomach irritation but not these chewables. The taste doesn’t leave a metal/iron taste in my mouth and they don’t hurt my stomach or cause acid reflux. They are like chewing a tums. Not sure if they work yet so I can’t report on that for a few months.

No after taste or belly ache.
I’m a bariatric patient and my iron levels are very low. I realized a few months ago that I was not taking any supplements that had iron so I have been taking all different types of iron supplements. I gave these a shot. They don’t taste horrible-but they aren’t good either. No aftertaste or after anything so I’ll take it. Must take two per day. Didn’t upset my stomach either so these win.

If I can save even ONE person from buying these, my review will be a success. DO NOT buy these. 😭 They taste so bad, and if you are pregnant like I am, you’re supposed to chew THREE. 🤢 It has a faint liver taste, I swear. It does still have that iron pill taste to it, but I'm not sure there's much that can be done about that. I think there are some people who are just better with pills and I'm one of those people.
