Must have changed the recipient or something. My family used to love this rice on taco night. Well, tonight I had to toss an entire pot - no one enjoyed it. No flavor, and no matter what I did, it had way too much water. The more I tried to cook it down, the more mushy it became. A few years ago, we would give it 5 stars. I can't even give it one but i had to si i could wright a review Don't waste your money on it.

We were looking forward to making this rice to compliment a few of the meals that we enjoy. It was disappointing. There was no real detectable cheesy taste. Overall, it was bland, lacking seasoning.

This was the worst tasting Mexican rice I've ever had! It was so bland, no flavor at all! Nor did I taste cheese, or any spices! It was terrible, Iwill never buy this product again! I would give 0 stars but they don't allow it. I would buy this again! Has this company even tasted it? I'm sur not! Also looks nothing like the Pic on box! Also won't allow you to post your pis if this product even though there's an option for it! How convenient! It SUCKED BIG TIME

I’ve always made my own Spanish rice until Fetch offered points for purchasing Old El Paso products. So I tried the cheesy Spanish rice and my family was sold! We love it and my husband and son said they cannot wait till I make it again!! Delicious!!!

Waste of money. I cooked the rice just as ingredients said and even after 25 mns it was soupy. Please do yourself a favor and leave this on the shelf.

While I love this for our chicken bowl dinners; the new packaging is horrible. No more bag for the rice, so my first box ended up on the floor when I tipped the box over to get the packages that weren't there. Then the second box spilled out while I was taking the seasoning packet out. So frustrating.

Yum. I have made this as a side dish many times. Recently, I made a triple batch, then placed it into a casserole dish, topped all of it with a lot of shredded cheese, covered with foil and baked at 350 for maybe 30 minutes. It was served as a side dish for tacos when I signed up to serve 12-15 kids an evening meal for a church event. It was a hit.

This rice is so cheesy and delicious! Not difficult to make but does take some time. The only reason I knocked off a star was because it sticks to the pan every time, no matter if I spray it use the oil continuously stir I just can’t seem to get that issue to not happen.
