It would be the most perfect in the world if it didn't transfer throughout the night. I use the H2OProof pen & its pretty good but I was looking forward to the liquid being an improvement. I used it twice & was so excited at first. Gorgeous application, goes over glitter, straight lines, seemed to want to last all night. Then both nights I was in a humid dancing environment & I was so embarrassed to have raccoon eyes. :( I don't trust it & won't touch it again

My Advice: WIPE EXCESS PRODUCT OFF BRUSH. Then apply to area. The eyeliner is very liquid making it easy to apply too much product or to be applied very thick. You can always add more liner but taking it off is a challenge. For my first application I did not wipe the brush and the line I made was too big. The very liquid application made it a challenge not to smear when taking off. So I had to allow the liquid to dry and then use a damp q-tip to remove. For the second attempt at application, I wiped the excess liquid off of the brush inside the eyeliner tube. Then I was able to make the fine line on my top eye lid that I wanted AND the fine wing tip I like to wear for work in the hot kitchen. It held up beautifully and I will be repurchasing!

This is a great beginner liquid liner! I’m a perfectionist so the tiny tip brush was super nice to get that fine point for wings. It would last a few hours before starting to crack and flake off, though. It doesn’t bother me very much though.

This goes on very easily, stays on, and is easy to take off at the end of the day. Works well!

The brush is bad, so many splits, so difficult to get a smooth line.

Affordable and easy to apply. I love the Matt finish of the eyeliner for everyday use. Highly recommend.

Eyeliner works great, but makes my eye lid red and hurt. Very disappointing. Won’t be buying again.

I have been buying this for years because I love it the tip-it is perfect, and usually the pigment is opaque. But the past two I have purchased have been watery and nearly unusable. This is my go to eyeliner…. and I am just worried that they have maybe changed the formula? Or maybe I have just been unlucky with my past two purchases?

Chefs kiss for a cheap pretty liner! It does rub off easy but for a simply finish to a look it does the job.

Eyeliner is perfect! I love that's it's a brush. It goes on smooth. The black color is excellent. I applied one layer and it wasn't light as others mentioned. you do have to have a steady hand but once you get the hang of it, the outcome is beautiful.

The applicator brush is the best in the market, it allows such precise liner. However, the formula is unbearable because there is barely any pigment. I try to go over my eyeliner again to make it darker after it dries and the eyeliner from before starts to scrape away. It is not buildable at all. Wish the formula was better because the brush tip is amazing :/

I usually buy the “expert liquid liner” & I bought this because it wasn’t in stock. This one…I do not like. It’s like it’s watered down! You put it on & the coverage just isn’t good. You have to try & go over it several times but it still doesn’t look solid. Not expecting this from a Elf liner.

Bought this about two months ago as an alternative to my usual fav that has been out of stock. While pulling out the brush some splattered in my sink. I immediately tried to rinse it down to no avail. I’ve used bleach, cleansers, home remedies and 2 MONTHS LATER it still has left stains on my sink. Didn’t apply great either. I love a good bargain, but the cost of replacing a sink is not worth it.

I don’t like how watery and not fully black it is. It’s also super easy to smudge and I was able to basically just remove all of it with a dry finger. I love E.L.F products but this is not one of them.

SO thin/watery and bleeds making the line look messy. It's a hard no for me.

I ordered this on Halloween for store pickup because I was doing face paint on my daughter who was a monarch butterfly, and needed something to make the thin black lines instead of making them with messy face paint. When I opened it, the brush was completely dry, and I put it back into the tube 5 or 6 times swirling it around trying to get ANY product on the brush. Still, the brush was completely dry, and I looked into the tube which looked completely empty. I would assume it dried out, except that the brush looked like there had never been any product on it at all so I assume it didn’t get filled. It was very annoying because I ended up having to use my Stila and Kat Von D eyeliners that are a lot more expensive, which both got ruined due to drawing on top of oil face paint. Check that it has product in it before buying.
