Vornado 723DC Energy Smart Whole Room Air Circulator Fan White: Electric Utility Fan, 11.3" Blade, 100-300 sq. ft. Coverage

I have an earlier version of this fan that is over 20 years old. We have window air conditioning units and remove the air from one room to the other in the summer so we don’t have to have multiple air conditioning units on. We’ll leave it on for days on end. It has held up very well over the years and I would definitely buy another one if needed.

I have had Vornado fans for 30 years. I love them because they are powerful and reliable. One of my fans has lasted 30 years and runs continuously in my basement during the warmer, humid months. I now own 5 Vornado fans and each one-is superb. They increase the effectiveness of any air conditioning I need to use. However, fans are more environmentally friendly!

A quiet fan that sits without vibration on a tabletop and, at a low setting, creates plenty of breeze to sleep comfortably under.

Love these fans—this is my 3rd because I keep wanting one in another room. My only beef is that I wish they were either smart or had a remote. I know they have ones with remotes, but they don’t have the DC ones with remotes.

Been using this fan for about 2 years. The design and build of the entire unit is great. One of the standout features is the perfectly smooth variable speed control. The lack of remote control actually makes for a nice tactile user experience with only the dial on the back. I love the power at the top end. It's rather loud at the highest ~20% of it's range, but the sound is a smooth and pleasant roar. Overall I highly recommend this fan. There really is something special about well engineered products with minimal unnecessary features, and this is one of them!

I've own this circulator for 4 years now and I am still grateful for the changes it has brought to our life and the minimal impact it has on the energy consumption and environment. This circulator beats every tower fan etc. on the market and it is a true fan. It circulates the air for the entire room as it advertises and takes up so little space. It provides infinite speeds and can be left one for the entire night without waking us up. It brought so much joy to my summer nights at home and I know it has reduced our energy bills by a lot. I swear it pays itself in a year or two and I love that it is locally made right in the U.S.A. It is super easy to clean up and you can go deep cleaning as much as you want. By the end of the season, it folds up really well and takes a minimal space. What a beautiful design. I think everyone should have a circulator like this. It has reduced our needs to use AC by at least 90%!!! Not joking! Get this fan!!!

Great fan like the fact that it has variable speed to control the airflow !! Move lots of air quietly something other fans don’t and make more noise that air !!

This is the third I have purchased. The connection plug on this one tends to come out when I move it. As soon as I push it in again operation resumes. My other two don't do that though.

I've been using this effective little powerhouse since it arrived a few weeks ago, and I love it. I wasn't sure if I would like the base, but it is sturdy and well padded. I love having the adjustable speed.

We have had a Vornado at out family beach house for at least 20 years and so when it came time to buy our own fan I knew where to look. This fan is great- very quiet until just over 1/2 power and you can really feel it circulating the air with ease. We’re very happy with our purchase!

The power connection is dysfunctional and disconnects at the slightest touch.

This fan didn’t move enough air for the price. It really “blew”. Pathetic.

My son started bringing his to CNU for his dorm room air movement three years ago. Due to his reports our Daughter requested we make this second, recent purchase. All we’ve heard is the Vornado’s performance is without equal and there may be other dorm mates’ parental purchases coming your way!

Yes fan is strong but it is too loud. Also lacks oscillation.

I love this fan! I now have 3. I use them in rooms to supplement the home ac system because temperatures in Texas have been over 100 degrees. The fan is quiet when on lower speeds but really circulates the air quite well.

I like having this energy-conserving, variable DC motor design. It's quiet and puts out a good column of air. I deducted 1 star from Design because the power adapter barely makes contact inside the fan. A slight repositioning of the fan and you may lose power. This has already happened multiple times with both 723DC fans that I bought. Maybe a slightly longer plug would solve the problem.

This is just like the one I had 25 years ago and loved! It’s got the variable speed knob. Best feature ever on a fan. Super quiet and still puts out all the air. I can’t stand the 3 set speeds and was so happy they finally brought the variable speed back. Hoping it lasts for as many years as the old ones did. My old ones lasted 20 years with almost daily use! Love Vornado and willing to spend the extra money for quality and better features.

I recently bought three big Vornados to get us through this last heat wave. They really move some air! We had an older Vornado from the 1990s, and although the stand is broken, the fan is still working fine, so I know that these fans will give us good service. I was pleased that they are still made in the USA!

The 723DC feels super solid, well-made, powerful and living on a sailboat I normally have to limit my power consumption but not with the Energy Smart feature.
