But this liquid he took the full amount with no issues. It doesn’t have that cough syrup smell, it smells more like honey. And he sleeps through the night. No heavy coughing and he’s actually getting a good nights sleep. I wish I knew about this a long time ago. I will keep this in my medicine cabinet at all times from now on.

Here’s what I learned after using this version: The box comes with two bottles and there is no syringe or cup for measuring. If you buy this while traveling, you’ll need to have a cup or syringe with you if you. My 3½-year-old likes the taste of both but daytime slightly more (night one’s a bit more herbal). The sweetness comes from the agave/honey base; per the label that’s 4–5 g sugars per dose for toddlers and 8–10 g for kids 4-12. Worth noting if you track sugars. It takes about an hour for the cough to settle down, and that lasts roughly three to four hours. Night formula seems to promote relaxation but won’t knock out a kid who’s already fully awake. Once you open a bottle, you’ve got three months. I label the lid and try to open only the bottle we need first so the other survives the sick season. Overall, it’s a good more natural choice for cough syrup. It doesn’t erase a cough, but softens it enough that my son can rest. The main issue is not including a syringe or cup can be a problem to those who don’t have any on hand, a likely possibility for first time parents dealing with their child’s first cold. So this may not be as great of a value to those without measuring tools.

The syrup comes in two bottles for a day and night time which covers my child for 24h. They are made with organic ingredients and did improve my child's sore throat and thickly cough during the day. It also reduced the cough at night which is what's expected from a cough medicine.
