Better than the boppy
I put this and the boppy pillows on my registry because I read great reviews for both. My baby was born 7 lbs and the breast friend lifts the baby up much higher to be at a proper nursing level. When he was a newborn I still needed a little blanket under his head to prop it but he quickly grew into it. I have only used the boppy on travel, I find it does not support me at all. This pillow is a back saver. My baby loves it too. He is 9 months and 20 lbs but still fits on it (wrapped around the side snuggly). I love this pillow, definitely would recommend it! I love the sage color and it’s easy to wash the cover.

I was a HATER on this thing for so long… what was I even thinking?!?? Y’all just get it. It’s freaking amazing. I lovvve the extra height of this one. The only con (and it’s barely a con) is I don’t love the plush fabric cover bc it makes me and the baby hot but that’s really not a big deal and they make a cotton cover anyway. I originally bought the boppy because I watched and read a million reviews and figured the boppy was a good multi-use product that would give me more bang for my buck and be more sustainable in the long run yadda yadda yadda. People really had me convinced this wasn’t worth it and I’m here to tell you: forget that noise. IT’S A THOUSAND TIMES WORTH IT! I started out using the boppy to breastfeed and omg it sucked! It would slide away from me so the baby would get wedged between me and the boppy, it wasn’t supportive in the middle and sagged (I still don’t understand this!!!) and I still found myself hunching over, leading to insane back pain. That’s ultimately why I said f it and bought this. No more back pain!!! And it’s so supportive for both you AND baby! Win flipping win!!!!!!!!! I also tried the OG at a lactation appt (also good) but for me, the extra height and support was needed with this one. No regrets!!!!!!!!! Get it!!!!!!!!!!

Its just okay.
I purchased this pillow to nurse baby #3 because my other pillow from another brand was accidentally destroyed by my husband. This pillow is okay in that it gets the job done however the Velcro is extremely loud which doesn’t help with night feeds. Additionally it ripped out my toddlers hair when she rolled next to me. Not the best for the price.

Truly a Breast Friend
Lovedddd this pillow. It truly was my breast friend for every single feed. As a first time mom, learning the bf was overwhelming. Having a pillow to help position was a life saver, especially for middle of the night feeds. The cover is removable for washes- which is crucial since we had multiple blow outs on it. I’ve bought this as my baby shower gift for multiple moms (if they’re wanting to BF). And I will use again for my next baby!

Must have for early weeks
Our tiny newborn kept falling into the boppy and we needed an army of pillows and blankets to nurse comfortably. This solved all that by bringing her up to the right height and providing back support, and is still a comfortable option now that baby is old enough to nurse with just the boppy. The cover is a pain to put back on so we try to use burp cloths on the pillow to minimize washing frequency, but the pros outweigh the cons.

This saved my bf journey. So much easier to manage than the Boppy. I saved my Boppy for when my baby got older for other things besides bf. You have a hard time getting acclimated to bf and positioning your baby. This puts baby exactly where he needs to be to successfully bf.

Overall I like it more than my boppy as it stays in place and helps my back. But it doesn’t fit correctly to nurse football hold on the right side due to the buckle placement. Also wish it didn’t have the bumps on the top and sometimes use it upside down.
